[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Stonebaked Smoky BBQ Chicken Pizza

I hesitated in getting the Marks and Spencers Stonebaked Smoky BBQ Chicken Pizza because BBQ sauce is usually quite sweet.
The sauce was sweet as expected so I was prepared for it however it was not as smoky as hoped.
Overall, I wouldn't have it again because I don't have a palette for sweet pizzas.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chicken Balti

Again, there is always something at MS to fix my cravings be it Indian, Aromatic duck or just simply sweet treats.
This time I got the Marks and Spencers Chicken Balti because I felt like some curry.
It does not come with rice but I noticed the box was quite heavy.
To my surprise, there are big chunks of chargrilled chicken breast and I mean big pieces!!!
After microwaving it, the chicken was still tender and the generous curry sauce spiced with tomato and ginger went nicely with the rice.
Will definitely try other items in the Indian range.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Smooth Duck & Orange Pate

I love pate so this time tried Marks and Spencers Smooth Duck & Orange Pate because I have already tried the Farmhouse Pate which has Madeira wine in it.

There is a layer of orange jelly on it which is refreshing and balances the heaviness of the pate.

I wouldn't say the pate is heavy but it is rich and strong with a big alcoholic Grand Marnier kick to it so be warned!

Mashed potato is good but M&S Marks and Spencers Carrot & Swede Potato Mash takes it to another level by adding carrots and swede which gives it another dimension in taste.
In a way, I found it comforting because it tasted like pureed baby food.
I paired with M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Chorizo pups which went nicely together because the smoky pups and mash tasted good together.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers White Bloomer

Bread is just something that is an essential but as the regular loaves are too big to finish I got the M&S Marks and Spencers White Bloomer which has relatively less slices.
Overall, it was good but the slices don't fit well in the toaster.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Smooth Pea and Mint Soup

The soup range at Marks and Spencers is amazing, there are so many soups that range from smooth, chunky to Thai soups.
This time got the Marks and Spencers Smooth Pea and Mint Soup.
As well as Pea and Mint, they also have Pea and Ham which I tried earlier.

It is interesting how the pea and mint and the pea and ham could both taste so different.
With the pea and mint soup, you could taste the freshly blended mint leaves and then you have tender peas popping in your mouth so I loved this smooth.
If you prefer the thick mushy peas and starchy texture then go for the pea and ham soup which can be quite filling.

Overall, the pea and mint soup is highly recommended unless you have something against mint!
