[BIG SISTER] Christmas Fruit Mince Tarts 6pk

Mince pies are a must at Christmas, so this year I got BIG SISTER as the other brand was sold out.

In a way, I was glad because these actually tasted surprisingly good.
Personally I am not fond of Mince pies because of fruit peel but these contain cherries in it which balances the fruit peel.

[Waitrose] deliciously nutty hazelnut low fat yogurt 150g

I loved this yoghurt from Waitrose.

There were lots of crushed hazelnut pieces in it and the overall flavour was nutty and smooth.

[KP Snacks] Space Raiders

These are British inexpensive corn and wheat snacks by KP Snacks in a shape of an Alien's head.

The pickled onion flavour tastes a bit my monster munch but the crunch is much harder.
After finishing the crisps, I decided to have fun shrinking them in the oven like I used to as a kid.

[Muller Corner] Red Cherry

As always Muller does deliciously creamy yoghurt, this time I had cherry which was not as tart as I expected and it was like sweet cherry puree because the cherries were pretty much blended.

[McVitie's] Milk Chocolate Digestive Caramels 267g

As well as the digestive nibbles, McVitie's also have caramel digestive biscuits!!
These caramels are so damn delicious!!

I found them chewy on a moderate warm day so they didn't need refrigeration.

The best thing is that they don't taste too sweet and the chewy caramel brings out the tasty wheat flavour of the digestives.
At the back of the biscuits, they have the words McVitie's Caramels at the back.

The only complaint was that all the biscuits are stuck together so when you try taking them out, they always snap in half.
I have experimented in putting them in the fridge and freezer.
The fridge makes them even more chewier but the freezer makes the caramel extremely brittle like caramelized sugar.

[Quaker Oats ] Oat So simple Pumpkin Spice

Tried the limited edition Pumpkin Spice by Quaker Oats.

It was nice having it on a cold day as it was warming and comforting.
I wasn't sure what to expect but when I opened the packet I could see pumpkin seeds and smell cinnamon.

After adding milk and putting it in the microwave for 2 minutes it was ready to eat.
I don't have a sweet tooth but I found myself adding sugar to it.

It had a nice cinnamon flavour and a good crunch from the pumpkin seeds but there was no pumpkin flavour to it.

[SAINSBURY'S] pirate fairy cake mix

As a kid, I have always made fairy cakes from cake mixes bought from Sainsbury's.
They come in basic flavours like chocolate or vanilla with different themes from time to time.
The chocolate one I got was the pirate.

Normally for girly themes, it would be the vanilla packs and the boyish themes are the chocolate cupcakes.
Compared to the cake mixes when I was a child, it used to be printed rice paper in the set but now they give you sugar paste decorations which is pretty but I prefer rice paper!

Pretty idiot proof, you just mix egg and water, put the mixtures into the cake case, bake and garnish with icing sugar and the sugar paste decorations.

Anyway, I thought they tasted good because the cake itself wasn't too sweet because I tried it without the icing so adding the icing makes the sweetness just right.
The moistness of the cake was not too bad as well.

For best results use a metal cupcake baking tray if you have one!!

Calbee American Buffalo Wings flavoured crisps

The packaging for the Calbee American Buffalo Wings flavoured crisps was exciting so I got a pack.

The taste was really good with a good spicy punch to it, however the thing that let it down was the sour notes of the buffalo sauce, it was non existent as advertised!

TESCO Lasagne

Everything was good but the sauce let it down because it was too sweet.

It can be put in oven or microwave.

TESCO Spaghetti bolognese

Tasted bland so added salt to enhance the taste.
Can be put in the oven microwave.

TESCO finest roasted Hazelnut yoghurt

Loved this roasted Hazelnut yoghurt, it had pieces of hazelnut to it which added to the nutty taste and it wasn't too sweet.
