Walls cornetto dragon ice cream

Spotted the Walls cornetto dragon mini ice creams at Poundland so decided to try them because the box was really stylish!
I loved the black and fiery design.
You get 8 x 55ml cones in a box but the size of these minis are slightly bigger than the Wall Miniature cones.
Anyway, I had to give them a try because they are non UK versions.
Currently you can get the dragon version in Australia and Netherlands however the ice cream looks visually different because the box I have is solid orange ice cream with strawberry sauce whereas the online photos show orange and strawberry ice cream.
Basically the same issue as the Cornetto mermaid, there were two different versions.
On the box, it is labelled as mango, passion fruit and strawberry sauce in a crunchy cocoa cone topped with chocolate cookie bits.
Personally I didn't like it because I just don't like mango and it tastes more like sorbet than ice cream.

Kinder Milk Slice

I can't really remember the last time I had a milk slice but from memory it was good and since then other similar variants haven't been as good.
The Milkybar milk slice on the other hand was really good.
Spotted the Kinder milk slice at Poundland so decided to try it again.
It was a pack of 3 for a pound.
Basically it is two thin slices of cake with white fluffy cream in the middle that melts in your mouth.
The cake slices were a little dry with a strong taste and smell of honey.
Overall nice with a cup of tea but somehow it does not taste as good as it used to be.

Jim Jams Hazelnut spread - no added sugar

Jim Jams spreads are widely available at the supermarket but I have not tried it because of the price.
I would say they are a relatively new brand as they were not around 10 years ago.
Anyway, they were giving out samples at Morrisons so I got to try the no added sugar hazelnut spread.
When they say no added sugar, it either means no added sugar or a substitute is used.
In this case, Maltitol was used.
After trying it, I was pleasantly surprised that the spread was really tasty and not cloyingly sweet because some sweeteners do not taste nice.
It tasted like a hazelnut nut butter with chocolate added but it was not too dry on application yet smooth.
The spread is nothing like or as sweet as nutella but I prefer this because of the hazelnut goodness and taste so you can slather on more!!
Well done Jim Jams!

Ferrero Rocher DARK chocolate hazelnut bar

Earlier last year, Ferrero Rocher launched these chocolate bars available in white, milk and dark.
I know I am late in the game but I finally got my hands on them as they were only a pound at Tescos.
They only had the dark chocolate but I was fine with that because I love dark.
Overall, you can imagine eating a ferrero rocher without the wafer but the only let down was the texture.
I found it rather soft on snapping so I will be putting it in the freezer to see if it helps.

Abbott Ensure Nutrivigor Vanilla flavour Shake and PaediaSure Shake drink mix powder - chocolate flavour review

Nutrivigor is a powdered nutritional shake, containing vitamin D, protein and calcium, specially formulated to support muscles and boost energy levels when you need it most.
As a curious foodie, I got a sample to try.
I assumed it needed milk but all it needed was 195ml of water so I added the contents to a bottle with 195ml of water to mix it by shaking it.
It ended up nicely with a foam cap while the shake was slightly thick in viscocity.
As for the taste, I found it creamy with a nice vanilla taste without being too sweet.

Also tried the PaediaSure Shake drink mix powder - chocolate flavour which was not as thick as Nutrivigor but there was a nice chocolate flavour.
In terms of sweetness and flavour, the chocolate was there but not that strong and I appreciate that it is not too sweet which makes it healthy.

M&S love heart lasagne ravioli review

The Valentines range at Marks and Spencers is big and better every year.
This year, I tried the eclair and love heart lasagne ravioli.
If you are a serious M&S fan, you will know that the ravioli is the regular one taken to the next level with beetroot colouring and red wine.
To be honest, they heart shaped ravioli were really pretty and the filling was just as delicious.
I loved the cheesy filling which tasted like bechamel and camembert.
