[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen 3 Cheeze Stonebaked Pizza

The Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen range is really impressive, there is so much on offer ranging from pizzas, burgers, pies to desserts.
I was definitely up for trying the Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen 3 Cheeze Stonebaked Pizza to see how it compares with other restaurant quality plant based cheese pizzas that I have previously tried at Purezza and Young Vegans.

I felt that this pizza was the one I had been looking for because the ones at the restaurants were too fancy and the one here only costs  ‎£4.

Although it is a bit more expensive than your regular meat pizza but it is made with coconut based cheese.

While it was in the oven, the cheeze behaved like regular dairy cheese as it melted and bubbled.
In a way it was expected because the quality of vegan cheese these days is really competitive since other brands do the same like Violife which M&S also stock.

When the pizza was ready, there was a strong cheesy smell.
Tasting a bite, I was impressed because the taste and texture was just like melted cheddar except that it was gooey, soft and sticky.
Comparing it to the restaurant ones, I definitely prefer this one because it was more basic so I could appreciate the cheesy taste and the rich tomato base.

The only downside is that the saturated fat on this pizza is quite high which I didn't realize until someone pointed it out on youtube.
Half the pizza is 53% of your daily saturated allowance which means you might have to watch out what you eat for the rest of the day.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chocolate Trifle

Traditional trifle is jelly, custard, sponge with cream on top.
These days, there are so many other versions like chocolate trifle.
At Marks and Spencers they offer the traditional trifle, best ever trifle, chocolate trifle and the sticky toffee trifle.

This time I had the Marks and Spencers Chocolate Trifle which has layers of chocolate custard, chocolate flavoured sponge and chocolate mousse, topped with fresh whipped cream and milk chocolate curls.

With triple chocolate, you would think it would be quite sickly but it wasn't because all the layers are different in different ways like the chocolate custard which is creamy, then the mousse which is light.

Overall, the chocolate trifle lets you enjoy chocolate in three different ways so I really recommend this.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Triple Chocolate Sundae

The Triple Chocolate Sundae is one of those desserts that you would have tried if you live in the UK but again I have never posted it so posting it now.
The Marks and Spencers version of  the Triple Chocolate Sundae is layers of milk chocolate mousse, Belgian chocolate sauce and Belgian white chocolate mousse topped with whipped cream and finished with chocolate brownie and dark chocolate curls.

The mousse part is pretty standard but I love the piece of chocolate brownie which is soft and rich to start with and then it's mousse and two thirds of it is white chocolate mousse which is quite creamy but not cloyingly sweet.

Will definitely try the toffee sundae as well as the toffee mousse should be good.'

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Crispy Lemon Chicken

The Chinese meal range at Marks and Spencers is honestly impressive covering almost everything from duck, starters, stir fries etc.

This time I tried the Marks and Spencers Crispy Lemon Chicken which comes with a side of lemon sauce.
The chicken is slightly different to the my regular takeaway in that it is battered vs the light flour coating at the takeaway I go to.

Anyway, I thought Marks and Spencers totally nailed it because the Lemon sauce is the thing that makes it lemon chicken.
The sauce was spot on, I suppose it tasted like lemon sherbet sweets but it still tastes like your Chinese takeaway lemon sauce so it complemented the chicken fabulously.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers The Coconutty One Fragrant Coconut Noodle Salad

Early this year,  Marks and Spencers have launched these veg pots with a healthy twist by layering vegetables, pulses and grains into them.
They have read to eat pots or hot versions to choose from.
Since I like rice noodles, I chose The coconutty one which is coconutty rice noodles topped with vibrant slaw.
Overall, it was refreshing and balanced with crunchy slaw on top but I wasn't too keen on the dressing as the lemongrass over powered everything.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Sticky Toffee Trifle

Traditional trifle is jelly, custard, sponge with cream on top.
These days, there are so many other versions like chocolate trifle.
At Marks and Spencers they offer the traditional trifle, best ever trifle, chocolate trifle and the sticky toffee trifle.
This time I had the Marks and Spencers Sticky Toffee Trifle which is toffee sauce, layered with sponge and custard topped with cream and butterscotch pieces.

The sticky toffee trifle has definitely satisfied my sweet cravings because their custard goes well with anything and it certainly did with the gooey toffee at the bottom while you have the crunch from the butterscotch pieces on top.

Will definitely try their chocolate trifle as well.

[Review] The collective dairy raspberry gourmet live yoghurt

As I haven't posted any yoghurts by The Collective dairy, I decided to try The collective dairy raspberry yoghurt.
The size of the yoghurt is reasonably big compared to other brands while the design was quite nice and appeals to the younger generation.
The yoghurt was nice and thick with a generous layer of raspberry compote on the bottom and on the top.

Overall, it was nice but I would prefer to get my hands on their other exciting flavours as shown on their website like Russian Fudge, butterscotch, rhubarb vanilla and Espresso Martini etc as raspberry is everywhere.
