The Waitrose Spinach & Carrot Pilau Rice looked appealing so grabbed a tub to try. It is basically aromatic rice with spinach, carrots, cumin, fennel and mace.
Overall, it was not bad with curry but on its own, the fennel and mace were really strong and the grains of rice were not fluffy enough.
