I love Pappardelle pasta which are wide strips of pasta that hold sauce to it so when I spotted Tesco Finest Steak Ragu Pappardelle I just to get it.
There beef, tomato and red wine sauce in it topped with Parmigiano Reggiano medium fat hard cheese and parsley.
The Chunks of chuck steak were a bonus as they were lean and tender.
Overall, I got my pappardelle craving satisfied because each strand was covered in thick delicious tomato sauce.
I've just tried eating this and it was nothing like the description. The meat was very chewy and fatty the parsley was very woody, I ate some of the pasta and binned the rest wasted money very poor!!!
ReplyDeletethis is the exact reason why I have photos as photos can't lie. As I have always said eating is partly luck! For better quality I prefer M&S because they are in general more consistent and have higher food quality than anyone else. The recent bolognese pasta I had from M&S was much better than this!
