I have never understood why bakery in the West and East are so different.
In terms of texture, Asian bread is too soft and I find them really difficult to swallow especially things like mantou.
I love pandan so tried the Oriental fortune mantou which was bland and tasteless.
The worst thing was the immense difficulty in swallowing it.
