Jammie Dodgers Cherry Burst

As soon as the new jammie dodgers cherry burst were launched I just couldn't wait to get my hands on them but farm foods didn't have it them.
Finally found them at another farm foods branch.
On their own, I really enjoyed the chewy cherry in the middle, although artificial but I liked it.
Hopefully they are here to stay.
I also paired it with @coopuk cherry bakewell ice cream.

Anyway I was so chuffed I finally got them and they tasted as good as I expected.
They are currently 3 for a pound at @farmfoods_uk and I am deeply regretting not getting 3 packs.
You can mix and match other jd flavours.

Golden wonder animal adventures - cheese

I just couldn't wait to start on them and Thankfully most of the animal shapes were intact to take a picture.
Basically they taste like cheese quavers but with a slight sweet kick to them.
I do like them but the sweetness annoys me towards the end.
They were fun to eat so perhaps one bag is not enough.

Haydens cream filled chocolate eclairs

These eclairs were not bad but the dry choux pastry let it down.
In terms of size, they were slightly smaller than the ones you normally see.

Co-op caffe frappe

The dessert pots at Coop were captivating because they look nice and come with a spoon.
Currently, you can get caffe frappe and chocolate chaos.
I found the caffe frappe very sweet yet bitter.
Coffee lovers would probably like this because the coffee is strong.

Coop irresistible rainbow slaw

Overall not a bad slaw which was creamy with a nice crunch.
The slaw is made of pink, red cabbage and butternut squash and red onions.

Waitrose Plum & Hoisin Sauce

While I was shopping in Waitrose I spotted some reduced plum & hoisin sauce so decided to get it for the lamb shank.
Technically it is for duck but it also worked nicely and lamb shank.

M&S Welsh Lamb Leg Shanks

When I saw these Marks & Spencers Welsh Lamb Leg Shanks I did not hesistate to buy them.
You could visually see how good the quality was and the freshness.
They braised beautifully soft and came off the bone nicely.

Marugame Udon opens in London, Liverpool Street

Marugame Udon also known as Marugame Seimen, a famous restaurant in Asia opens their first branch in London, Liverpool Street!
There were long lines on the opening day.

When you get there, you choose an udon which is made to order and then you can also choose optional tempura from the tempura bar.
The udon is freshly made just like pasta.
The Udon bowls start at £3.45 which will get you the kaamage.
For the desserts, they have unlimited vegan matcha £2.95 and doriyakis.
After you have paid, you can customize your udon with toppings at the toppings station and eat.

Pictured are: Beef Nikutama, Chicken Paitan, kaamage, curry udon and kakiage and nori tempura
I had the chicken paitan which was udon with sliced marinaded chicken thigh in a rich chicken soup with a soft boiled seasoned egg.
The udon was soft with a chew in this sweet comforting chicken broth however it would be good if the egg was less salty.

Overall, it was just as good as the Marugame Udon in Asia and I hope to see the UK branch do the tempura egg which was just amazing.
I will definitely be back for the vegan matcha, tofu omusubi and tempura.
