[Review] Lidl's just free Vanilla Soy Pot

At Lidl, they had various of soy yoghurts to choose from under the just free soy pot range with vanilla, original and blueberry.
It was hard choosing between the original and the vanilla so ended up getting the Vanilla.
As for the taste, it was a bit too sweet for my liking and the vanilla taste was rather artificial but not offending.
You can see some specks of brown in the yoghurt which appear to be vanilla seeds.

[Review] Vitasoy Mint Chocolate Flavoured Soyabean Milk

Vitasoy Mint Chocolate Flavoured Soyabean Milk was launched earlier in 2019.
It is not a new drink but relaunched for a short period of time.
There was a nice minty twist but it tasted like mouthwash however if you refrigerate it, the taste is better and not so sweet.

Valentine's special boy edition - Dark chocolate by VitaSoy

Although Valentine's day has past, there is White day coming up!!

Anyway,  tried Vitasoy's Valentine's special which was dark chocolate.
There are two designs a boy and a girl.
(The girl which I don't have)
This design is similar to the Tiramisu edition.

The taste was quite nice because the chocolate was stronger than the normal chocolate version.

Otsuka SOYSH sparkling soy water

The small white pearlescent bottle caught my attention.

After taking a closer look, I realized it was Sparkling soy water! How interesting because I have never seen soy water before.

Usually soymilk comes in milk form so I was really curious whether the drink would be clear of milky!~

It is interesting because from their website, they are a pharmaceutical company.
http://www.otsuka.co.jp/en/company/release/2011/0202_01.html

I am not sure if the drink contains alcohol but the English labelling from the supermarket says: soy cider!

There was an interesting ring pull design to open the bottle, once it was opened, the drink inside was a milky white colour.

The taste was quite milky and smooth but not too sweet with a fizz.

There was a really nasty artificial banana smell with a hint of banana and minty aftertaste just like medicine probably because it is produced by a pharmaceutical company!
Also from their website, SoyJoy bars are made by them too which I have tried before.
http://www.otsuka.co.jp/en/product/soyjoy/

I would love to try the Fruity Tomato soyjoy bar and the Prune Fe Plus soyjoy bar if I could find them.

vitasoy Cookie'n Cream flavoured soybean milk

I dislike vitasoy drinks but was surprised to see the Cookie'n Cream flavour.
It was better than anticipated because it tasted like hazelnut flavoured milk.

Halloween limited edition of VitaSoy's chocolate and orange soy drink ~ Why not choc n pumpkin

It is rare for dairy products and citrus items to be combined together because usually the acid in the juice interacts with the lactic acids.
Anyway this drink it is most probably made from orange essences.
I hardly drink Vitasoy because I think it tastes weird, but the combination of orange and chocolate seem strong enough to overpower the weird soy taste.
I have also tried Vitasoy's chocolate drink before, but it just tasted of Cocoa milk.
This limited edition drink is so much better!
There was no soy taste, which was good. I could taste chocolate and orange. It was surprisingly silky, the orange aftertaste was there, but it was the orange peel taste as opposed to the citrus flavouring.
The taste is similar to the aftertaste and aroma of JaffaCakes.
Although it was nice, they should have been more daring and come up with Chocolate and pumpkin.
Last time I saw this drink, i assumed it was a seasonal design, because they had lots of designs for CNY.
They should have had an orange on the design and hollowed it out like a pumpkin!
The Japanese have Kit Kats in pumpkin flavour.
The size of the carton was 375ml, which is slightly bigger than the regular size of 250ml.
375ml was a bit too much for me.
