Unif Assam Milk Tea

Obviously I got this drink because of the design.
There were two flavours: Milk or coconut.
I liked the way it was like a milk bottle with a cow merged into a teabag to represent the beverage inside which was Assam tea.

I ended up getting the coconut because you don't normally put coconut milk in tea.

There was a strong Assam tea taste but you couldn't really taste the coconut.
Overall, I liked the drink because it was not too sweet.
More details about the design:

Cans of chocolate by Ovidias

These cans were placed in the drinks section so they looked like cans of drinks but they were cans with  chocolate inside.
I didn't buy them but the packaging was really good.

Otsuka SOYSH sparkling soy water

The small white pearlescent bottle caught my attention.

After taking a closer look, I realized it was Sparkling soy water! How interesting because I have never seen soy water before.

Usually soymilk comes in milk form so I was really curious whether the drink would be clear of milky!~

It is interesting because from their website, they are a pharmaceutical company.
http://www.otsuka.co.jp/en/company/release/2011/0202_01.html

I am not sure if the drink contains alcohol but the English labelling from the supermarket says: soy cider!

There was an interesting ring pull design to open the bottle, once it was opened, the drink inside was a milky white colour.

The taste was quite milky and smooth but not too sweet with a fizz.

There was a really nasty artificial banana smell with a hint of banana and minty aftertaste just like medicine probably because it is produced by a pharmaceutical company!
Also from their website, SoyJoy bars are made by them too which I have tried before.
http://www.otsuka.co.jp/en/product/soyjoy/

I would love to try the Fruity Tomato soyjoy bar and the Prune Fe Plus soyjoy bar if I could find them.

Japanese food container with handles

It was nice how part of the box has been cut to make handles without needing extra materials.

Taiwan Beef noodles

I haven't tried these noodles, but I found the drawstring bags attractive.

There are two different colours for the two flavours:
beef and spare ribs.

For more product details visit www.taiwanbeefnoodle.com but all the information seems to be based in Hong Kong.

Interesting tea packaging

The packaging for the tea looked interesting, so decided to post this!
It seems to have Arabic on it too!
The packet is actually quite big about the size of a cornflake carton.

明星食品 一平ちゃん 夜店の焼そば 明太子味 Myojo Ippei-Chan Yakisoba mentaiko flavour with butter taste mayo

Yomise no Yakisoba mentaiko flavour with butter taste mayo

I got these noodles because there were about three fun sauces/condiments inside to put in the noodles: Japanese style mayonnaise, mentaiko and soy sauce.
When you peel back the lid, the dehydrated vegetables are already with the noodles and the other three sachets of sauces are separate.

As well as the good packaging, the website was hidden beneath the plastic wrapping on the lid.

The reason I liked the packaging is that these noodles need to drained and they have designed some holes where the water can be drained.
I tried some similar noodles which did not have this design and ended up tipping all the noodles in the sink!

There is a video below which shows this cool packaging and they have three other noodles in this series that have mayonnaise but the website does not have ENGLISH!!!
From the online translations the other flavours appear to be mustard, charcoal and sea salt and the other one I cant quite make out.

Anyway, the noodles tasted delicious, although my pictures do not look as good as the ones in the video because I did not take photos of the condiments mixed.

Noodles with mayonnaise added

Chewy Stir Rice Vermicelli Indonesian Gado-Gado Flavour

I agree with The Ramen Rater that these noodles were bland, however it had a strong peanut oil taste.
The sauce I got was slightly different from Ramen Rater's I did not get the red sauce, instead I got this brownish colour sauce which turned out to be ginger, so if you do not like ginger, do not add it!

The Ramen Rater's review:

After water was added to the noodles with dehydrated vegetables.

Since the vermicelli was soft, the water was ready to be poured out, so I put the lid back on which has holes conveniently on the corner for the water to pass out.

After pouring out the water, I added the peanut sauce sachet and the other sachet of oil which turned out to be ginger.

After mixing.....

Apart from that the packaging was quite good, it even had two bowls stuck together so you do not burn your hands and there are holes in the corner of the lid for draining out the liquid.
