Interesting chocolate from Hachez: Mango and chili chocolate.
I only noticed it because of the chili on the packaging but I did not buy it because I don't like mango or chili.

Got this because the bottle was really cute, it is palm sized and just slightly smaller than a hand grenade!

planet studio seaweed with cod exclusive from Taiwan
Although planet studio specialises in popcorn, they also have these delicious seaweed snacks.
They are thin pieces of seaweed adhered to a piece of wafer thin crackers that are cod flavoured.
They were so crispy, light and addictive and the pack is resealable if you cannot finish them.
The texture is so crispy that you wouldnt notice the cracker part and the the whole piece is almost as thin as wafer.

Apart from seaweed and cod, there is also a spicy version of it and they also have seaweed with almond slices or a spicy version of seaweed and almond slices.

planet studio popcorn exclusive from Taiwan
Usually popcorn comes is irregular shapes but the popcorn from planet studio are like spheres and are just like mini planets. Hence the name planet studio!
The last time I came across Taiwanese popcorn was from Chansii but I never got round to trying it so I was really lucky this time to get some popcorn from planet studio.
The packs of popcorn were HUGE, enough for four people to share.
I was so amazed they have 14 flavours and each one has a creative name which is hard to translate into English.

The 14 flavours are:
Original diamond, Caramel, Hazelnut and caramel, Chocolate, Cheese, Chowder, Seaweed, Wasabi, Kimchi, Coffee, Spring onion and chicken, Honey, Coconut and milk, and Sweet corn soup!!
I think the most interesting flavours are the Spring onion and chicken, Coconut and milk and the sweetcorn soup and the seaweed flavour would be a popular choice for Asians.

Anyway, I tried the Original and the Caramel.
The popcorn comes in huge resealable packs, tubs or snack packs great to share at the cinema.

Original:
The colour was lighter than the caramel one but the taste was really nice and buttery.
It is made with mediterranean sea salt to bring out the full flavour.
Each popcorn was nice and spherical.

Caramel:
This was much sweeter than the original but not that buttery, but very moreish after you have started eating it!!

Uni president Dong Gwai flavoured instant noodles 當歸藥膳風味細麵
Previously tried the two other instant noodles in this series.

This time I was looking forward to the DongGwai series, however I could not find the DongGwai with duck so I only got the plain DongGwai noodles.
Again it was as nice as the previous noodles but the ginseng one had a stronger taste.
For this flavour the DongGwai taste was faint.
There was sesame oil as well but I did not use it because it tastes really strong.
LaObamas Black garlic soda
I noticed this drink only because of the word Obama then when I got a closer look I realised it was black garlic.
As I have already tried black garlic before, the drink should taste nice as well because there is no garlic taste and it tastes sweet anyway.
It appears from their website they are mainly based in Hong Kong even though it saids it is Swiss Made.
I believe this product is not the only brand.
The soda was contained in a slim can with a neat black lid, but underneath the lid there is a normal ring pull.
I suppose if the drink cant be finished you can use the lid.
After you have finished the contents you can use a can opener and remove the top part and then it can be used as a container with a lid.
The taste was really similar to extremely sour coke with hints of grilled flavouring and some faint garlic aftertaste.
Anyway I would love to know the recommended retail price of this and on their website they have Obama on one of their promotional posters!

Thai Jasmine cakes
Initially thought these were pandan because they were green but after trying them I realised they were Jasmine.
The Jasmine tastes really different from the Jasmine teas, inside the green thing there was some filling which might have been egg yolk.
Anyway, dont know what they were but just tried them for fun.
