MAMA Shrimp tom yum flavour instant noodles

MAMA noodles in general are really spicy so I tried the Shrimp tom yum because the shrimp "creamy" tom yum was not.
The tom yum soup tastes just like the restaurant which makes me suspect restaurants use soup powder mix for their broths.
Overall, it was really nice and more refreshing than the creamy tom yum version.

LuckyMe! noodles (Phillipine) reviewed

Discovered the Lucky Me brand of instant noodles at a local Philippine store.
There so were many flavours so ended up getting a lot.
Here were the flavours tried.

LuckyMe Pancit Canton chow mein instant noodles
These were a little disappointing as the noodle shape was different to the product shot.
Overall, they were not bad in a taste but a bit spicy.

Lucky Me! Bulalo
Monde Nissin Beef bone marrow flavour instant noodles.
I was drawn to these noodles because it was unusual to see a beef bone marrow flavour but to be honest, I didn't expect it to contain any bone marrow.
It was a very small portion of noodles but in a way that was good because I got to try the other flavour of noodles afterwards.
The flavour was nice and beefy.
In the garnish sachet, there were these strands of brown stuff which looked like beef and when I tried them, they were convincing like pulled beef belly but they are actually texturized wheat protein from the ingredients.
Overall, this is really worth trying and guilt free as you don't get much in a portion.

Lucky Me! Monde Nissin chicken & seafood flavour in rich & thick soup instant noodles.
I bought these along with the Beef bone marrow flavour noodles.
The flavour profile of this soup was very different as it had a really strong prawny smell and you get wide noodles in the packet.
The soup comes out thick as shown.
Overall worth trying.

Lucky Me! Batchoy
Again another good noodle, the batchoy had some nice garnishing.
There was one sachet of crispy chicharron and garlic.

Brazilian Nissin miojo tomato instant noodles

The Brazilian Nissin tomato instant noodles were surprisingly tasty because the tomato flavouring was on the savoury side and the noodles had a good bite.
These are fortified with vitamins which I haven't seen other noodles do.
Strangely, the other Brazilian Nissin noodles I tried earlier were not as tasty as the tomato.

Ching's secret noodles

Discovered Ching's instant noodles at the Indian grocery store.
As an instant noodle review I just had to try them as there were so many flavours, Manchurian would be my first choice but they only had Singaporean curry and Schezwan.

Schezwan was rather spicy and similar to Korean spicy noodles so if you like those kind of flavours these noodles are for you.
The portion isn't that big so perfect when you are not that hungry but feel like some noodles.

I've never tried Manchurian food so decided to try Ching's secret instant noodle version.
I know it doesn't really represent true Manchurian cuisine but it was still interesting for my instant noodle collection.
As with all the instant noodles from this brand, the portion size is small which makes them great for trying.
There was a funny smell but the taste was fine and I found that it had a peppery tomato taste

Last but not least was the Singaporean Curry which I least liked.
The noodles were rancid so I had to use another pack of instant noodles to replace it and the aniseed in the curry was too strong.

The range by Ching's secret is amazing, not only did they have instant noodles but they do sauces and hakka noodles as well.

Knorr Chatt Patta & Cheesy Chatt Patta Noodles from Pakistan

Discovered these noodles at the Middle Eastern grocery so as an instant noodle reviewer I had to try them.
To be honest, I didn't know what Chatt Patta was which was why I had to try them even more.
After googling the Knorr Chatt Patta noodles, there were no English reviews.

Started off with the Chatt Patta first because I presume the cheesy one is the same but cheesy.

You cook them in the usual way by boiling them in hot water and then add the seasoning.
When you cook them, there seems to be some yellow oil coming from the noodles.

The chatta patta was shockingly good but I would say it is an acquired taste because they were extremely hot and quite sour which is definitely up my alley so I am certainly going to get more.

The cheesy Chatt patta had this really strong wotsits aroma followed by the spiciness just like the chatta patta but without the sourness.

To summarize, I was really impressed by both flavours and these flavours are really memorable as there is nothing like it.
So far, the Chatt Patta noodles and the Polish noodles are now my new favourites.

Mr Mings Crazy chicken noodles

On my Polish supermarket visit, I discovered another brand of instant noodles called Mr. Ming Crazy noodles.
You'd be surprised, there are so much instant noodle choices at the Polish supermarket.
At the store, there were three flavours for Mr Ming so I got the chicken but according to their facebook, there are more flavours like curry, tomato and seafood which I am guessing from the pictures.
The chicken one was surprisingly good, there was an interesting orange colour oil sachet which seems to be sesame and chicken oil.
Overall, the noodles were really tasty but the texture of the noodles lacked elascticity.
Rating: 4/5
