[Review] Tilda Mushroom Basmati Rice

Tilda Rice has been around for quite a while.
They have taken steamed rice to the next level with the wide range of flavoured steamed rice.
Tried the Tilda Mushroom Basmati Rice and loved it, the rice was soft and fluffy with a lovely mushroom aroma.
I like the way it is not overly salty or seasoned so that it makes a good accompaniment with any dish.

[Review] Sangri Indian

Although I am always trying out different restaurants.
Sangri Indian is one that I return to because their food is comforting just like this restaurant in Stepney Green which closed down.
I love their vegetable side dishes and as well as their rice.

Unfortunately, I can't find the previous pictures but here is the lemon rice I had recently which is fluffy and goes well with lots of dishes.

[Review] Japanese 16 grain rice (Tajmatsu Sixteen Green Rice)

Discovered the Tajmatsu Sixteen Green Rice at the convenience store, luckily there is an English label with the ingredients.
There are three boxes in a pack.

The 16 grains rice has a glutinous rice texture which was delicious with curry or whatever you have with it but the 160g portion was a bit too small for me.

Tried Golden Elephant Brand Cooked Jasmine Rice which was quite good.
The rice was fluffy and soft just like freshly cooked rice.

Korean Dong Won rice drink

When I opened the can, it smelt like Vitasoy Malt, I couldnt find any rice until I got to the bottom of the can, there were bits of rice that were similar to the residue found in extremely watery congee.

Basically it tasted like Vitasoy Malt but without the soymilk taste.
Apart from that, I found it too sweet and after diluting it tasted better.

According to the English labelling this drink is meant to be Fermented rice nectar.
However the label was a bit suspicious, it is a rice drink, but the ingredients do not mention any rice!

Leaf wrapped rice dumplings in memory of Confuscious

In Hong Kong, Confuscious is remembered by these rice dumplings in June.
I can't be bothered to write about it because I am going to write about the food.
I never buy these wrapped rice things, but since this one was hygenically sealed and had many flavours I bought one to try.
The flavour I got was curry with meat, mushrooms and abalone.
The curry wasnt that strong in the glutinous rice!
The abalone tasted like plastic, I am sure it was plastic!

As well as that I found a piece of FAT!
