Marks and Spencers Butter Chicken Takeaway for one with pilau rice, bombay aloo and onion bhajis

The Chinese and Indian takeaways for one are really cute at M&S.
It really makes sense during this time because a meal for two could be a bit too much and with these cute portion sizes you could do a mix and match and end up getting an Indian and Chinese for sharing.
To be honest, I split this one person meal over two lunches.
The first day I had rice with the butter chicken and the next day I had rice with the bombay aloo.
The butter chicken was delicious as expected with succulent pieces of chicken while the bombay aloo was quite fiery but overall I really enjoyed this.
Next time I am tempted to try the Chinese takeaway for one.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer Chicken Tikka Samosa

When I spotted the Marks and Spencer Chicken Tikka Samosa in the sandwich section chiller I had to try it because it gets sold out fast.
The samosa is a combination of popular chicken tikka made into a samosa with potato, peas and onion.
Basically it was a match made in heaven, each bite was filled with delicious chicken tikka that was not too overpowering complemented by the delicious pieces of potatoes, peas and onions.
They also have the plain vegetable samosa but the chicken was so good that I don't thing a samosa will the the same again!

[Review] Sangri Indian

Although I am always trying out different restaurants.
Sangri Indian is one that I return to because their food is comforting just like this restaurant in Stepney Green which closed down.
I love their vegetable side dishes and as well as their rice.

Unfortunately, I can't find the previous pictures but here is the lemon rice I had recently which is fluffy and goes well with lots of dishes.

[Review] Cofresh Snacks

Found these at home, Cofresh Chili & Lemon Grills and the Cofresh Jalapeno grills.
The Jalapeno flavour clearly had a strong Jalapeno aroma with a punch of spiciness.

As for the Cofresh chili & lemon, I found this addictive because of the lemon.

Overall both were good because these snacks are starchy and crunchy.

[Crisps] India's Masala Magic by Lay's

I didn't know that you could get crisps and cup noodles in India so when I found out, I managed to get some crisps from the local store.
I got Magic Masala by Lay's.

Inside, you get crinkle cut crisp and they were extremely spicy.
They tasted like spring onion crisps with a fiery kick but after you get used to the spiciness, they were quite good.

From the packet, it says they manufactured by Pepsico India Holdings.

Maggi atta Masala Instant Noodles

As an instant noodle fan, I have always wanted to try instant noodles from all over the world.
Got my hands on Maggi atta Masala which is from India.
"atta" means wholewheat noodles hence the colour of the noodles and you can see pieces of wheat in it.
It was impressive to find dehydrated peas in the flavouring sachet.
I tried some of the powder on its own to see how spicy it was and it is quite spicy.
Unfortunately, the noodles had already gone rancid in the packet before I opened it otherwise they would have been delicious.
Anyhow, I will try and get it from another shop and hope it has not gone rancid.

Khatta Meetha by Haldiram’s

I love Bombay mixes so my colleague got me this from India.

It is a sweet and sour mix hence the name Khatta Meetha and it contains rice flakes, chick peas, peanuts, sago, red lentils.

The curry flavour is there without being too spicy with a delicious sweet and sour taste just like Chinese sweet and sour and the mix is extremely light and not oily compared to other brands.
It comes in a good packaging that is well labelled with nutrition values and ingredients.

McDonalds: India

McDonalds in India

I like the McDonalds in India because I hardly eat beef, and in India there are so many choices for Chicken and vegetarian burgers and even a vegetarian muffin!!

As well as that, I love the Paneer burger and wrap which contains no meat but solely CHEESE!

Their telephone number is devilicious!! 666s!

The website is cool because you can choose the background colour on the left!

Other exotic burgers of my choice!

Cute size for soft serve too!
