Sainsbury's Sour Cherry & prosecco chutney - Taste the difference

I am so glad cherry has been given justice this year and there is finally a cherry chutney.
Loved the sweetness which I don't normally appreciate in a chutney.
Best paired with goats cheese but I didn't have any however it was still good with some chipolatas.
The chutney was similar to a cherry compote but was more flavourful with the spices and chunky bits of chopped cherries.
Also contains apple.

Lidl Italiamo Foglie d'ulivo - tomato and spinach

Foglie d'ulivo is a olive leaf shaped handmade pasta).
You can really taste the grassy spinach in the spinach one.
Overall, the texture and everything reminds me of spatzle.
Will be trying the tomato one at some point which I believe will taste nicer.

Sainsbury's gingerbread & white chocolate blonde pies - Taste the difference

I am not really a white chocolate person but the combo of gingerbread, frangipane and caramel filling sounded good.
I tried the pie at room temperature and warmed up in the microwave for 10 seconds.
The pie was more enjoyable at room temperature because it was not too sweet and more flavourful that you can taste the caramel and almond followed by the fiery kick at the back of your throat.
Eating it warmed, I found it was too sweet and it was hard to taste anything else although the gingery kick was still there.
Will be trying it again at room temperature with some hot custard.
Overall, I am glad I got these because I can see myself finishing the rest.

Tropical Sun Jamaican Ackee

As mentioned before, ackee is creamy and delicious just like avocado and it also tastes like sea urchin (uni).
Delicious on toast, however it had a slight bitterness which was gone when paired with toast.
Additionally, you can add some pepper or some sauce to enhance the flavour, but I felt that it was flavourful already and I wanted to appreciate the taste of natural ackee.

isey skyr stracciatella

isey is a brand that I always see at Marks and Spencer but never tried.
I got to try it at an Iceland immersive event in Soho.
The stracciatella was delicious sweet, thick and creamy skyr with chocolatey bits.
Definitely a dreamy Icelandic treat.

Pot Noodle Christmas Dinner review

On a recent visit to ASDA, I was so excited to see the Christmas Dinner pot noodle which comes in a three pack in a Christmas Cracker!
It costs 6 quid so that's what you have to pay if you want to try it and hopefully they don't sell them individually later.
As a pot noodle fan, I had to get it.
Visually, the pot is really nice as you have the Santa Claus look and I like the way they have used the French word Noel for Christmas which tricks your eyes in seeing noodles.
I thought there was going to be cranberry sauce but there is no sauce at all.
It was definitely very herby and it was really strong especially the thyme and rosemary which gives it a really bitter taste.
However I didn't find many peas as the labelling suggested.
Overall worth trying but these Christmas dinner noodles are not seemingly new because they came out in 2010 sold individually for 1.10

Lee Kum Kee debuts some new noodle kits [Gifted]

Definitely loving the new noodle kits from Lee Kum Kee!
Not only they rule the world with their sauces but now there are noodles.
I love these simple noodle but restaurant quality noodle kits which are easy to execute!
The abalone noodle kits was definitely a winner as there is a pouch with abalone and conpoy inside paired with Taiwanese Guanmao sliced noodles that have a nice frilly edge and hangs the rich abalone sauce well.
The tomato is definitely a great pick me up anytime which is appetizing and moreish with the spicy kick.

M&S Food Wriggling Worms

I am so glad that it is Halloween again because I couldn't get my hands on these wriggling worms last year.
Basically, they are these super slim pork sausages which are even slimmer than your regular chipolatas so I really had to get them because you get a different ratio of casing to sausage meat which will give you a different taste.
They cook quicker as well due to the thickness.
As expected, I really enjoyed them on their own without any sauce because they just taste like chipolatas, and they were not overly seasoned or too salty which gives it room for the BBQ Glaze provided.
Not only were they tasty, but they also didn't contain any chewy or fatty bits, so I ate all those sausages in one go.
