Giraffe Rolls are crusty buns with a giraffe pattern hence the name Giraffe Rolls.
I happened to see some at Sainsburys so got some.
There was a lovely yeasty bread smell when I grabbed them from the shelf and when I got back home there was still this lovely smell.
After toasting them, they were simply delicious with a crispy outside and a soft and chewy inside perfect with butter or Marmite butter.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Spaghetti Bolognese
I am gradually working my way through the Plant Kitchen range at M&S so this time tried the
Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Spaghetti Bolognese.
The bolognese sauce was a bit bland and it was nothing as tasty as the tomato sauce for the Plant Kitchen dirty fries.

[Review] Haywood & Padgett Becky's Bakery 4 Cherry & Sultana Scones and Devon Scones
I was getting some scones to finish the clotted cream in the fridge and spotted Becky's Bakery 4 Cherry & Sultana Scones at Icelands for 50p only.
The cardboard tray was pretty and girly with the Becky's Bakery logo so at the time I assumed that Becky was the brand.
Although wrapped in plastic you could see the scones had a nice regular shape with glacier cherries and sultanas uniformly distributed in the scones, so visually it was good.
The size of the scones are slightly smaller than other brands but I liked them because they were not irregular and knobbly like other brands.
Tried the scones on their own and the taste was so impressive, they were really flavourful with a lovely texture.
The glacier cherries literally burst with flavour while the sultanas were juicy and sweet.
After trying these scones I felt like I had wasted money on the cherry scones I bought earlier.
With the usual scones I overload them with clotted cream because the quality of the scones were poor but with these scones I didn't need much and they were heaven.
The Devon scones are just as good especially with cream and jam.

I have always wanted to try scones with whipped cream and the Bramley apple filling that you find in m&S fresh cream apple turnovers but since I cant source that filling I used @cheekyboysauces spiced apple sauce and clotted cream which worked out nicely.
But in the end, I managed to get some apple turnovers and put the filling inside the scone which turned out nice as expected.
Had it not been for the give away limited edition Emma mugs I would not have known that these scones are by Haywood & Padgett because of the small print for the website.
So after registering for the competition which I don't normally bother I discovered they have these square scones at ASDA which I am trying to get hold of especially the Salted Caramel scones and Strawberries and Cream.

Parsons Pickles - Pickled Cockles and Pickled Mussels
Parsons Pickles is reputable brand that has been around for so many years.
I remember seeing them at the supermarket when I was a child but did not try them until recently.
As I live by the seaside, you can get fresh shellfish which you have with vinegar and salt and pepper.
Pickled cockles and mussels are great as snacks especially when you live in the city.
Tried the pickled cockles and mussels from Parsons and loved them especially the pickles.
The mussels were a bit mushy but still good.
I hope my local Sainsburys stocks some Laverbread by Parsons because it is dubbed as Welsh caviar!!!

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer Skyr Mango & Passion Fruit Icelandic Style Thick Yoghurt
Skyr is an Icelandic-style cultured yogurt product.
It is thick like Greek yoghurt but has more protein in it.
As for the taste, it is less tart so Skyr yoghurt is a great choice for people who love thick yoghurts.
At M&S, they had the Skyr Mango & Passion Fruit Icelandic Style Thick Yoghurt so I tried it.
The yoghurt was lovely and thick yet spoonable with a refreshing Passion Fruit taste but less on the mango.

[Review] Lidl Deluxe Smoky Chipotle Olives
Previously tried Lidl's Deluxe Bloody Mary Olives which were quite nice so this time tried the Deluxe Smoky Chipotle Olives.
The olives were palatable but they were too salty.
