[Review] Tescos 65p Frozen meals

There are so many frozen meals available and the cheapest ones around cost £1.
I was at Tescos when I spotted the Tescos 65p Frozen meals, there were three different ones to choose from:

Spaghetti bolognese:
Cheese and Tomato Pasta (Penne):
Chicken Curry with rice:

The spaghetti bolognese and curry were my picks so decided to get the chicken curry.

The chicken curry with rice is chicken breast pieces smothered in a creamy coconut curry sauce served up with rice.

There was a lovely smelly of curry when it was heated.
As stated, there were a decent amount of chunky chicken breast found in the curry and lots of curry sauce to go with the rice and chicken.
The colour of the curry and presentation was just like the product shot.

Overall the curry and chicken was quite good but the rice let it down because it was quite hard so the spaghetti bolognese would probably be a better pick.

For 65p, it would definitely a good deal.

[Review] Iceland's Meal for One Macaroni Cheese

Since Iceland have a good range of frozen meals for a pound, decided to try them and see how they fared.
Previously tried the Iceland Beef Filled Yorkshire Pudding 320g which was fantastic.

Tried  Iceland's Meal for One Macaroni Cheese which came in a basic packaging.
Basically it is cooked macaroni in a cheese sauce topped with cheddar cheese.

The red cheddar can be seen beneath the film.

After it was heated in the microwave, the smell of cheese was a bit too sickly but when it cooled down it was all good.
The macaroni was in this thick cheesy sauce which was not too overwhelming and the saltiness was just right.
So overall, not bad and much better than the canned versions of macaroni which can be too soft and bland.

[Review] Burton's Fish n Chips Lashing of Pickled Onion

#burtonsfishnchips are a 1980s snacks which I have no recollection of at all.
Previously tried Burton's Fish n Chips Lashing of Vinegar which I thought was the only flavour according to their website and the only one seen at the shops.

I was surprised to discover Burton's Fish n Chips Lashing of Pickled Onion at the shops so immediately got it.

Compared to the vinegar, the acidity was much stronger so I loved it.
The texture is like crumbly light ritz biscuits with a pickled onion flavouring.

[Review] Morrisons cheese and onion sandwich

Cheese and Onion Sandwich is the probably the cheapest sandwich around which I find simple and delicious.
Tried the Morrisons one which was how you would expect it to taste in the sense that the cheese was sharp while the onions were balanced.
The creamy mayonnaise blended in nicely.

[Review] Heinz French style Tartare Sauce

I love a good Tangy Tartare sauce but unfortunately the Heinz French style Tartare sauce was a bit too sweet.
The chunky pieces of the gherkins in the sauce were a plus though.

[Review] Sainbury's Belgian Chocolate Millionaire's Tart

Visited Sainsbury's and got the Belgian Chocolate Millionaire's Tart from the cakes counter.

The tart was so damn delicious and too pretty to eat because it was dusted with glistening edible sparkles.
It tastes better refrigerated or in winter when the caramel is chewy complemented by the rich chocolate on top on a firm but crumbly tart base.

There were other captivating items such as the eclairs which are reasonably priced.

[Review] Teas by Brew Tea Co

I was at an event where they had teas from Brew Tea Co so I got to try a few of their teas.

Earl Grey wasn't there so tried the English Breakfast which was strong and wonderful for the morning.

Next tried the Chai which was full of spices but not too overpowering.

Last but not least was the Fruit Punch which I did not agree with but then I knew I wasn't going to like it because it contains lemon grass.
