Morrisons mouth watering melon ice lollies

Finally a Melon flavour and not watermelon!
If artificial melon is done right, the taste is quite nice but unfortunately I found the flavour a bit like solvent.
Still, it was a bargain for 1.35 for four even though it was not to my liking.

Morrisons 35p Milk chocolate and 90p Hazelnut Milk Chocolate

The Morrisons 35p Milk chocolate is something I would never buy because of the price but only because I had a 5 pound Amazon fresh voucher.
When I have vouchers, I normally get things I wouldn't buy or get something with a price that matches the value so I use it in one go.
This time I decided to use it on a Morrison branded product as well as an amazon branded one.
I didn't have any expectations on the chocolate but I think it was the vanilla that made it tasty and the chocolate had a nice snap as well.

While the milk chocolate was really nice, the hazelnut milk chocolate was disappointing.
It was studded with lots of hazelnuts but sadly it was just sweet and you couldn't even taste the chocolate or hazelnuts.

Morrisons Apple & Gingerbread Flavour Smoothie

I love Christmas when everything is gingerbread so when I spotted the Apple & Gingerbread flavour smoothie by Morrisons I had to get it.
It is made with apples and bananas as well as coconut milk.
The taste was quite sweet but the cinnamon and coconut touch was nice.
Overall, you can think of it tasting like an apple colada.

Morrisons 5 Mini Danish pastries

I like the Morrisons mini Danish pastries because you get all your favourites in one box, ideally not for sharing because you just can't.
In the box, you get maple pecan plait, cinnamon whirl, raspberry crown, apple lattice, vanilla flavoured crown.
Overall, they were all nice.

[Review] Morrisons The Best Cheddar Butternut Squash and Spinach Frittata Slice

Frittatas are commonly served in cafes and restaurants but during lockdown you can't obviously dine out so I got my frittatas from Morrisons.

To be honest, you can make your own as well.

The Morrisons Cheddar Butternut Squash and Spinach Frittata Slice was quite nice as it was cheesy but the butternut squash and spinach were on the light side because the peppers over powered the whole thing.

Morrisons chocolate & orange donut / doughnut

I love trying new donut flavours from Morrisons. This time it was the relatively new chocolate orange donuts.
Had my branch stocked them, I would have got them sooner but the branch I go to strangely don't really stock the new flavours.
Usually Morrisons are generous with fillings but all five of these were consistently stingy, almost non existent.
The doughnut itself is consistent ie oily and not yeasty like other supermarkets so it really relies on the filling.
I wasn't really a fan of the chocolate orange because the orange was a bit artificial.
Anyway, I wished I had saved my 50p and waited for the new pink lemonade donuts.
With the rest of the donuts remaining, I had it with Cadburys desserts which were too sweet for their own good and they were a match made in heaven.
There was another mystery surrounding these donuts, I thought they were sold out as they were not on the shelves so I asked them if they had stocked them and strangely they were in the trolley but not put out and they were not due to expire that day or anything.

Morrisons Sweet cured herrings review

Lately,  I had this strange urge to try rollmops so ended up trying the Morrisons Sweet cured herrings first as it was hard deciding which supermarket brand of rollmops.

The reason I chose Morrisons sweet cured herrings was that it was quite different to the other supermarkets because it had pink peppercorns which the others didn't have.

As expected, I wasn't quite fond of it because of the sweetness but then I expected that because they are sweet cured.

Overall,  I think I am going to like rollmops more than sweet cured herrings but if you seriously wanted to try sweet cured, I definitely recommend Morrisons.

Morrisons The Best Thick Lincolnshire Sausages review

I love sausages so this time I tried the Lincolnshire sausages from Morrisons.
The Lincolnshire sausage has a signature taste of sage which is to my liking just like regular pork sausages and chipolatas.
The Morrisons Lincolnshire was actually really nice as it was meaty and not too fat with a good sage aroma.
Reposted a product picture from Morrisons because I forgot to take a pictures of the sleeve.

Morrisons Fishmonger's Plaice Fillets review

I love plaice fillets so when they were reduced at Morrisons for 37p, it was definitely a good bargain.

The fillets were small but they were great grilled and lightly pan fried in cornstarch.

Morrisons Greek Pasta Salad review

I'm not really a fan of the salad bar at Morrisons.

This time tried the Greek pasta salad which was a bit too sharp and heavy for my liking.
