[Review] Walkers Christmas Sprout Haters vs Sprout Lovers

You either hate or love sprouts.
Walker's have brought back the brussel sprouts crisps this year.

There are two multipacks for sprout lovers and sprout haters.
As a sprout lover and curious foodie, I got the one with sprouts which contains Turkey Stuffing, Sprouts and Pigs in Blankets.
The other bag contains the same except you get Honey Glazed Ham and Cheese and Cranberry.

I was really excited about the sprouts so had it first.
There was a strong celery and spinach smell when I opened it and the crisps were slightly green.
As for the taste, I really liked it because it tasted grassy just like celery.

The Turkey Stuffing had a hint of sage.

As for the Pigs in Blanket, it was smokey.

Overall, the sprout was my favourite flavour being unusual and strong.

[Review] Raspberry Maltesers from Austrailia

I was excited when I found these Raspberry Maltesers in the shop.
There was also Vanilla Shake Maltesers.

Decided to get the Raspberry as I could imagine the Vanilla just being sweet and sugary.
When I opened the bag, the smell of raspberries was there but it wasn't prominent in taste.
Dark chocolate might be better to complement the raspberry taste because it was very sweet as a whole.

Anyway I hope they will come up with ruby chocolate maltesers ones day.

[Review] Japanese 16 grain rice (Tajmatsu Sixteen Green Rice)

Discovered the Tajmatsu Sixteen Green Rice at the convenience store, luckily there is an English label with the ingredients.
There are three boxes in a pack.

The 16 grains rice has a glutinous rice texture which was delicious with curry or whatever you have with it but the 160g portion was a bit too small for me.

[Review] Four Seasons Cheescon

I had no expectations on these Chinese savory snacks which always taste sweet.
However when I opened the bag, they tasted and smelled like #wotsit so I ate the whole bag in one go by accident.

[Review] Burton's Fish n Chips Lashings of Vinegar

#burtonsfishnchips a 1980s snacks which I have no recollection of at all.
They taste like crumbly light ritz biscuits with a salt and vinegar flavour.
It wasn't as salty as anticipated but there is a sweet aftertaste.

[Review] Jack n Jill Nam Yu Pork Knuckle flavour Potato Chips

Nam Yu also know as Fermented red beancurd is a classic sauce used in braising pork knuckles which are either braised or deep fried.
Just like cheese, it is an acquired taste to some.

I love fermented red beancurd so I had the try the new Jack n Jill Nam Yu Pork Knuckle flavour Potato Chips.

The flavour wasn't strong as anticipated.
If you have tried Mcdonalds red beancurd sauce which is super strong, I reckon dipping these crisps in Mcdonalds red bean sauce would go together well.

[Review] Daiya Peach Yoghurt Alternative

This was my first time consuming a non dairy yoghurt and the taste was amazing.
There are three flavours in the range by Daiya Foods : strawberry, blueberry and Peach.
As it is made with coconut cream I chose peach because it would go with coconut if the coconut taste was strong.
Ripped off the lid and I was in for a surprise as the texture was like pudding.
Moving on to the taste, it was so amazing, firstly it wasn't too sweet, then the peach hit me with a little savoury aftertaste.
The coconut taste that I was expecting wasn't there.
Definitely going to buy this again because it is so damn delicious.
