Marks and Spencers noodle salad and scotch eggs

Came back for more treats, this time got prawn and pasta, cocktail sausages, porridge, cheese and cranberry.

Prawn and Pasta:

Nectar berry drinks

There are three flavours: Sour cherry, Clear blueberry nectar, and Strawberry and apple.

These drinks are from serbia, and they all taste sour with a strong apple juice base.

Belgian waffle butter biscuits which are really buttery, so if you like buttery biscuits then this is for you.
It was really sweet too.

Marks and Spencers Farmhouse pate

Mark and Spencers pate is always good.
The farmhouse pate is smooth with a hint of madeira.
The tub is fairly big and the pate is filled to the rim.
However it is difficult to spread, especially if you are using the local bread which deflates like a sponge without rigidity.
There is also duck and orange pate which is nice too, it has a layer of orange jelly on top.

Japanese rice burgers @ 7-11

This is really tempting to try, a choice of either chicken or beef patty burger sandwiched in between some rice! (Rice burger).

Anyway, I tried both. It was interesting because the rice used was glutinous rice and not pearl rice.

I do not like pearl rice anyway.

Althought it is Japanese, it is manufactured in Thailand!!!

Grilled Chicken rice burger:

I prefer chicken as opposed to beef because there are less fatty bits and tendons in it.

If your expecting a strong taste, this burger is quite bland, but as I like chicken it was really nice and the whote thing was not too dry.

The rice burger was really nice because it was chewy al-dente glutinous rice which is rare for Japanese food.

Spicy pork rice burger:

There was visually quite alot of chopped coriander in it but the taste of coriander was not that strong, but the spicyness was quite strong.

Egg Tofu

I am not a fan of egg tofu because it has a slightly sweet taste and it tastes of egg more than natural tofu.
The egg tofu is always packed in plastic pouches which I never knew why until I wiki'd it.

Anyway, this particular one I bought was made in Chinese and it did not taste really nice, although it did not have that sweet taste, it was quite salty and tasted really artificial.
It just tasted like a disgusting version of Japanese steamed egg or savoury egg caramel pudding.

I was quite surprised they offer Jasmine tea as one of their beverages, and since Singapore is quite multicultural chicken is quite a popular item there.

Even for breakfast they have crispy chicken with eggs!

I have tried cinammon melts before which are delicious and here they have blueberry melts as well!
