Last year, I visited AmazonFresh at Canary Wharf where you just walk in and walk out, we were billed correctly for the items we got.
Later this year, various supermarkets now offer this service like Aldi, Tescos and Sainsburys and there is a similar smaller store at Excel, Custom House.
To be honest, the Market Express at Excel was the one I liked the most which is powered by Amazon.
It was good because you just tap your credit card to go in and the machine registers for you hence you do not need to download any apps and taking time to register your details and card etc.
The Aldi Shop&Go store is located in Greenwich for some strange reason but luckily still in London so we gave it a visit too.
It was really good because this is the only branch that is not packed with people because of it requires app to enter.
The only downside was that they do not have the newest products so you still have to go to the regular stores to buy them.
Thankfully, Tesco's GetGo and Sainsbury's Smartshop Pick & Go are both located near each in Holborn however they do not open weekends and evenings so only people working in the area can benefit from this.
Managed to visit, the Tesco but was billed incorrectly, again it was a small store so only the basic items were stocked.
Will hopefully visit the Sainsbury's store in due course.
Would love to visit Morrisons but it is located in Bradford and open to staff only as they are in trialling stages.
Lidl does not have one of these stores yet but they are working on a Lidl Go app where customers scan products on their phones but most supermarkets already have this Scan and Go service.
