M&S Plant Kitchen Vegetable Gravy

Vegan plant gravy by M&S.
This will come in handy for Christmas and nut roasts.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Percy Pig Celebration Cake

To be honest, Percy Pig is a really popular mascot at M&S but I have still not tried the Percy Pig sweets yet as I gave them to my niece.
Marks and Spencers Percy Pig Celebration Cake was really pretty so why not kill two birds with one stone to try the sweet and the cake!
When I took the cake home, I was surprised that everyone liked the look of this cake.
For me I liked the colourful sprinkles and the fact that it was vanilla sponge in the middle.
The cake serves 8 so each slice is just about right with the sugar overload.
I love the vanilla sponge which had a nice firm but moist texture complimented by the jam and butter cream.
Overall recommended because it was fun to eat and looks great on photos!

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Count on us Hunters chicken & potato wedges

I have always wanted to try Hunters chicken because it is not something that I would cook and I haven't seen it at the restaurants.
Spotted the Marks and Spencers Count on us Hunters chicken & potato wedges so I had it for lunch.
When I bought it, I didn't realize that it was to be cooked in the oven so I took the chance of putting it in the microwave for 3 minutes and it came out ok.
I thought the potato wedges would be dehydrated but they were not.
You actually get a whole piece of chicken breast in the meal so it is lean chicken you are getting.
When I put the fork into the chicken, it was really hard so I didn't have any expectations on the chicken but when you break into the chicken, it was still succulent and moist.
To be honest, I really enjoyed this meal as the sauce was smoky but not quite the American bbq type but with paprika and all that which complemented the chicken nicely.
There is sufficient sauce for the chicken and wedges.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chunky Spicy Keralan Chicken Soup

I have almost tried all the M&S soups so when I spotted the Marks and Spencers Chunky Spicy Keralan Chicken Soup I just had to give it a try.
Unfortunately, some bright spark used on pasta so the taste was a bit diluted mixed with other things in the pasta.
Luckily it was just ham and pumpkin in the pasta so the taste of the Keralan soup didn't get polluted.
Overall, it has a lovely spicy curry kick but I need to get this again to try it properly.

As a foodie, I had to get the soup again, and this time having it as proper soup was like the MS chunky Thai soup without the lemongrass but the flavour was in a different direction with notes of turmeric and ginger.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Smooth Tomato & Basil Soup

Tried Marks and Spencers Smooth Tomato & Basil Soup which was quite tangy hence it went well with M&S Brioche buns which are quite sweet.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chunky Smoked Haddock Chowder Soup

I love smoked haddock hence tried the Marks and Spencers Chunky Smoked Haddock Chowder Soup which had chunk of haddock.
The soup was creamy and comforting with potato and leeks in it.

[Review] Pork Farms 2 Vegan Porkless Pies exclusive at ASDA

The Pork Farms Vegan Porkless Pies exclusive at ASDA hence the special trip to ASDA.
I am not keen on pork pies because I am not fond of grounded meat as they sometimes contain fat and weird things.
Vegan pies do the trick because it is only made of plants.
The Pork Farms Vegan Porkless Pies were quite good, the pastry was like your usual water crust pastry and the filling tasted like sausage so overall recommended.
