[Review] Warburtons 6 Potato cakes

I love potato cakes so whenever I see different brands I have to buy them.
To be honest, I never knew Warburtons had potato cakes until I saw it on their website.
They were not prominently placed at the supermarket hence I didn't see them on my shopping trips.
Finally found them in Sainsburys on the top shelf.

So far potato cakes I have tried are either rectangular or quadrants but Warburtons are round.
The texture of these potato cakes were firmer than other brands.
As for the taste, you couldn't really taste any potato and it was like eating dough than potatoes.
Strangely, they were nicer deep fried with a bit of gravy!

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Cottage Cheese with prawns

I love prawns so got the Marks and Spencers Cottage Cheese with prawns because it also has my favourite Marie Rose dressing in the ingredients.

I paired it with Warburtons potato cakes and they went well together.

The cottage cheese has a distinct taste which tastes just like fromage frais so overall it was nice.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Made without Dairy Greek Style Pot

I was just curious how a Greek style soy yoghurt would taste so I got the Marks and Spencers Made without Dairy Greek Style Pot.

The soy yoghurt was quite thick just like Greek yoghurt, as for the taste the soy was really strong so it really depends if you like the taste of soy beans.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers NEW Italian Mozzarella cherries

A while ago I spotted the Marks and Spencers NEW Italian Mozzarella cherries which I suspected was just the Mozzarella balls in one of their other products and indeed it was.

The Mozzarella cherries are convenient and easier to prepare because they are made into balls so you don't have to scoop it from the big Mozzarella ball.

The balls were just as good and they were creamy and delicious.

They were delicious paired with simple cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.

[Review] Mieszko śliwka w czekoladzie - Plum chocolates

The Mieszko śliwka w czekoladzie was another delicious gem I found in the Polish supermarket.
It was candied plum covered in chocolate.
I loved the way you get a big chunk of plum covered in chocolate and it was not too sweet.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Egg Noodles

I just fancied some Egg noodles so got the Marks and Spencers Egg Noodles.

According to the sleeve, the egg noodles come with beansprouts and seasoned with soy sauce and sesame oil.

The soy seasoning is very light which make the noodles good for accompanying curries or stir fry so you can add other sauces to it.

I decided to stir fry the noodles with black beans and quorn and it came out nicely.

The best thing is that the beansprouts are at the bottom of the box so if you don't like them you don't have to spend time separating them.

[Review] Quorn mince

As I always dine out, many dishes that I've ordered have Quorn mince but I have never cooked it myself so I decided to get myself a bag and try.

The first time I cooked it was stir frying it with noodles and the texture was a bit dry so it tastes the best cooked in sauce like bolognese which I am going to do next.

Ended up making Katsu Quorn curry with freshly foraged chestnuts which tasted good.
