Quorn cocktail sausages

I love Quorn and the Quorn cocktail sausages were simply delicious.
They were full of flavour and seasoned like a regular sausage with a fatty sausage texture without the gristle bits.

Ginsters Vegan Quorn Pasty

I love pasties, so this time tried the Ginsters vegan Quorn pasty.
To be honest, it just tasted like your ordinary Quorn pasty laced with peppercorns.
The ironic thing is that there are so many comments that the regular one does not contain much meat that it is almost meatless.
Overall, the Vegan Quorn pasty was good.

[Review] Quorn Roasted Sliced Fillets

Quorn is a really successful meat substitute that has been around since 1985, well before other brands.
This time I tried the Quorn Roasted Sliced Fillets which basically look and taste like chicken fillets.
They definitely tasted good with mayonnaise or peri peri sauce in a wrap.

Also spotted the Quorn escalope!

[Review] Quorn mince

As I always dine out, many dishes that I've ordered have Quorn mince but I have never cooked it myself so I decided to get myself a bag and try.

The first time I cooked it was stir frying it with noodles and the texture was a bit dry so it tastes the best cooked in sauce like bolognese which I am going to do next.

Ended up making Katsu Quorn curry with freshly foraged chestnuts which tasted good.

[Review] Quorn Smoky ham free Slices

A while ago I got the Vegan Smoky Ham & CheeZe Toastie from Costa which was really delicious so when I saw Quorn ham slices at the supermarket I got some.

Just like the Costa toastie, it tasted great in sandwiches and toast because it really tastes like regular ham.

As well as Quorn slices, I hope to get hold of the Quorn Picnic Eggs and Quorn Fishless Fillets Salt And Vinegar which you will only probably at the bigger supermarkets.

[Restaurant Review] All you can eat breakfast at Toby Carvery for £4.89

I love breakfast so the all you can eat breakfast for £4.89 at Toby Carvery was really captivating.
If you are having Quorn sausages, this must be ordered when you pay.

At the breakfast bar, all these items should be there.
Bacon, Pork Sausages, Free Range Fried Eggs (v), NEW Hash Browns (v), Baked Beans (v),
Plum Tomatoes (v), Handmade Potato, Bacon, Cheese & Onion Hash, Freshly Roasted Mushrooms (v), Breakfast Gravy, Breakfast Yorkshire Puddings - Our famous homemade Yorkies with roasted onion and bacon bits, Toast (v) - With a selection of jams and spreads and Quorn™ Sausages (v) - Available on request.

Got there at around 10am and it was not very busy however at the breakfast bar, certain items were not refilled until later so you have to leave room for other bits.

I was looking forward to the hash but it was in a lot of oil so were the mushrooms.
The breakfast Yorkies are different in the sense that they have bits of bacon and onion in them and the breakfast gravy has a hint of tomato in it.

Overall, I would recommended the breakfast because you can try everything for an affordable price which is unlimited but some improvements are needed.
Some of the the items were in a lot of oil and the sausages were over done.
The gravy ladle was too hot to handle as it got heated at the breakfast bar.
The tea is bottomless but again you have to wait for them to refill the tea bags.
