Senorita Cooked Dry Peas

Was attracted by this can because the can looked quite classy, almost like the high end brands.

It is quite surprising that Philipino foods can be quite well packaged and the English is perfect with standard nutrition labellings.

When I opened the can, it was filled with quite alot of brine, there was only half a can of peas inside.

As I do not know how you are suppose to eat them, I just ate them straight from the can.
Anyway as these are dry peas, they tasted quite hard and dry.

Magnolia Cheezee Squeeze, Squeeze that Cheese!

Bought some squeezy cheese that was really nice, however I put too much on my bread and realised it was too salty after taking a bite.
Since it was really salty I put another piece of bread on top and the taste was just right and not too salty.
It was really nice and cheesy.
They also have cheezee squeeze in Pimento flavour as well.

Nissin US Salsa Picante Shrimp Flavor cup noodles

Tried this American cup noodle by Nissin called Salsa Picante Shrimp which seems Mexican.

When I pulled the lid back, the contents were quite red and there was lots of chili powder.

After water was poured I could see lots of herbs, however the taste was not as tangy as I hoped because there was a picture of lime on it.

The ingredients label was quite strange because it did not list any herbs or cumin so I could not find out what herbs was in the noodles.

Nissin US Creamy chicken cup noodles

Tried the American version of Nissin's creamy chicken cup noodles.

The packaging is similar but has English on it instead of Asian.

I prefer the US version to the Asian Nissin cup noodles because the noodles had more texture.
Even the noodles itself you can see it has finely grounded wheat/grains in it.
The texture was really nice because the Asian ones just go soft and slimey.

The chicken broth was nice and chickeny not bland like the Asian Nissin version.

The colour of the broth was quite yellowly.
The Asian version has dehydrated lumps of chicken and this one does not.

Cute Thousand year QUAIL eggs!!

Usually the preserved eggs I have come across are duck or chicken eggs, but when I saw this box I wondered if they were really preserved eggs because of their size and they were quail eggs.

On the labelling it said the ingredient were: salt, quail eggs, tea leaves so I was expecting them to be ordinary eggs with tea leaf flavouring.

Anyway, they were really cute because they were in an egg box of 12, each egg was vacumn packed.

When I was playing about with it I didnt realised the egg shell was so soft, so I cracked it and realised it was jelly like inside and it really was a real thousand year egg!!!
I removed the shell and bit into it and found it had a thick yolk too with the signiture snowflake patterns on the egg white.

The taste was the same as the usual ones with a minty cooling aftertaste.

Dreyer's D Collection Pistachio ice-cream and smoothies

Just realised this is my first post for Dreyer's. This is because the flavours in my region were not appealing until they launched this one.
After looking at their site, this is one of the flavours I would want to try: Apple pie!
I also want to try their Shakes & Smoothies which according to their site, you just add milk!
Chocolate
Strawberry Banana
Sunrise Blend

Nissin seafood cup noodles

The old packaging for this used to be a bowl and now the cup holding it is taller.

The pot noodles contain dehydrated eggs, carrots, cabbages, spring onions, surumi meat.

The noodles did not taste nice.
I tried them during all softnesses from hard to soft and I didnt like it and the soup base which was weak.
