Bistrotea - Tea in a sugar stick sachet

Tried these teas because the packaging was attractive, the tea leaves were contained in a aluminium pouch shaped like a sugar sachet with holes for the tea to infuse.

There were lots of flavours but I tried Strawberry and Jasmine, Jasmine lotus and Vanilla peach.
The Jasmine was really fragrant and the colour of the tea was vivid.

Compal Essential Fruit Shots

Got this because the bottle was really cute, it is palm sized and just slightly smaller than a hand grenade!
It is a fruit shot with designed to contain one portion of fruit inside the bottle without the fuss of washing and peeling the fruit.

Compal Essential Fruit Shots

Its proposition is “Fruit is essential and Essential is fruit” means that with Essential, your fruit is always fresh and ready to go.
Compal Essential is a 100 per cent fruit shot which contains all the goodness of one portion of fruit without the hassle of peeling or chopping. Each beautifully designed bottle contains one portion of fruit and counts towards your five a day of fruit and vegetables.

There are six fruits to try – mango, strawberry, peach, pear, pineapple and apple. The small, handy sized bottle makes it ideal for children’s lunchboxes with no waste or mess and for packing into a bag for people on the go, without bruising or spoiling, like a piece of fruit would.

Ganoderm lucidum spores and propolis capsule

Got a sample of these health supplements thanks to U Food.

The capsules are by Wai Yuen Tong.

The sample contained 10 capsules and I was suprised it came in a nice bottle rather than blister packaging.

I thought they would be gel capsules because it contained propolis but they were powdered and in plastic capsules.

Anyway just for fun I opened the capsule and swallowed the powder without the capsule and the smell of the propolis was quite strong.
Apart from that it tasted quite bitter.

Casino Saint-Marcellin cheese

Again, I should have googled this cheese before consuming it because the runniness of the cheese increases with age and this answers why there are holes in the packaging!

The texture was similar to camembert but not as strong, however it was lovely and creamy.
Its packaging reminded me of a huge contact lenses case!

Saint-Marcellin is a soft French cheese made from cow's milk. Named after the small town of Saint-Marcellin (Isère), it is produced in a geographical area corresponding to part of the former Dauphiné province (now included in the Rhône-Alpes région). It is generally small in size, weighing about 80 grams (50% fat), with a mottled creamy-white exterior. The degree of runniness increases with age as the exterior gains blue, then yellow, hues within two to three weeks after production.

Kidsmania strawberry candy

Got this because the packaging was interesting! Obviously it is made in China, so I doubt I will actually finish the whole candy.

The candy is contained in a folded plastic box.

The taste was really fake, but I didnt expect much from it because it is from China and it was really cheap!

Senorita Cooked Dry Peas

Was attracted by this can because the can looked quite classy, almost like the high end brands.

It is quite surprising that Philipino foods can be quite well packaged and the English is perfect with standard nutrition labellings.

When I opened the can, it was filled with quite alot of brine, there was only half a can of peas inside.

As I do not know how you are suppose to eat them, I just ate them straight from the can.
Anyway as these are dry peas, they tasted quite hard and dry.

The Collective Pomegranite and Cherry yoghurt

Pomegranite and Cherry yoghurt by The Collective - great dairy.

Nice simple seethrough tub that shows the yoghurt and fruit inside.

The yoghurt had a nice natrual tart taste and the cherry was not overly sweet.
However I only found one piece of cherry in the tub, and for the pomegranites there were a few pieces with seeds inside.
I would really like to the limited edition Christmas pudding yoghurt.

Russian Fudge yoghurt which I also tried

McDonalds: Puerto Rico

McDonalds in Puerto Rico

The most impressing thing is the Chicken McBites, similar to the popcorn chicken served at KFC.

I really like the packaging which can hold the dipping sauce at the edge of the box and for the bigger size it can hold two dippings sauces.

McCriollo Con Huevo queso

Bocadillo - toasted ham and cheese sandwiche

Oatmeal porridge - Avena

Swiss cheese in the crispy chicken club!

MAMEE cup noodles

Previously tried these instant noodles and now they have a cup noodle version.

The cup was really nice, it was opaque plastic as opposed to PFC or cardboard.

The cup was covered with printed card which could easily removed leaving a nice cup behind.

Inside the cup was a fork with an expandable handle.

The opaque cup reminds me of the special edition one produced by Nissin.
As for the noodles, the texture was quite nice, the noodles were flat and not round in diameter.
