[Nissin Cup Noodles] Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavor

Tried Nissin Cup Noodles Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavour which is part of their luxury range launched for Cup Noodle’s 45th anniversary.

The Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavour tasted like noodles in a rich Chinese oyster sauce but nicer and it had pieces of oyster mushrooms and black fungas.

The thing I didn't like was how oily my lips were after eating it and the broth became like gel when it cooled down.

Other flavours in this series are: Luxury Shark Fin cupnoodle and Softshell Turtle cupnoodle which were both really good.

Nissin Miso Ginger Energy cup noodles

When I got this Miso ginger cup noodle by Nissin, I didn't know it was supposed to boost your energy like those energy drinks until I googled it.

The taste was a bit disappointing because it was just the usual pork flavour with a hint of ginger.

Matcha seafood flavor cup noodles

I was really excited with the Matcha seafood flavor cup noodles because Matcha is such a common flavour that is used everywhere.

The design was also attractive, there is so much detail on it from Mount Fuji, a drome with a face on it carrying a lantern, a cute fortune cat, a geisha, a train at the bottom and lots more.

At the back, it has the usual ingredients and there is a picture of a row of capsule machines.

When you peel back the lid, you will see the usual contents found in a seafood cup noodle such as egg bits, octopus slices, cabbage, carrots and spring onions.

The only thing different is that the broth powder is green and the noodles are green.

After adding hot water it was ready to eat but I couldn't quite taste the matcha.

Minions seafood flavor cup noodles

Got this from someone who went to Universal Studios in Japan.
Apparently they come in a box of four.

On the labelling it actually says MINI MENS and you will notice there is a banana after the word Noodle.

More photos of the cup noodle.

When you peel back the lid, there is a smell of banana which smells the same as the sweets Banana Chews.

There are bits of egg and Minions.
They basically taste the same as the usual Nissin Seafood noodles with an interesting aftertaste of those Banana chews. The noodles are very silky as well.

Overall, they were quite nice and the banana wasn't that off putting.

Nissin oxtail cup noodle 日清無臭大蒜蛋黃牛尾湯杯麵

As I can't read Japanese I couldn't quite make sense of this flavour but the Chinese labelling seems to decipher garlic, egg white and oxtail as the main ingredients.
The design of the cup noodle is the same as the 45th anniversary series where they had controversial sharks fin and turtle.

Chinese labelling:

I found pieces of black fungus, bell peppers, spring onions and beef which can be found when you peel back the lid.

After adding water the broth was quite white and milky.
The sauce added in:

The smell was strangely like Parmesan mixed with milk and the taste was creamy and oily.

The bits of beef were thinly sliced just like the ones you find at Yoshinoya beef rice bowls.
