[Nissin Cup Noodles] Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavor

Tried Nissin Cup Noodles Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavour which is part of their luxury range launched for Cup Noodle’s 45th anniversary.

The Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavour tasted like noodles in a rich Chinese oyster sauce but nicer and it had pieces of oyster mushrooms and black fungas.

The thing I didn't like was how oily my lips were after eating it and the broth became like gel when it cooled down.

Other flavours in this series are: Luxury Shark Fin cupnoodle and Softshell Turtle cupnoodle which were both really good.

Circle K : Noodles with imitation abalone and crabsticks

The noodle set looked delicious with imitation abalone, crabsticks and it was cheap too so I tried it.

The noodles they use are Nissin Taisho (日清大將炒麵) which comes with sesame sauce or spicy sauce.

I tried both sauces, the sesame one was more delectable while the spicy one was too spicy, but the texture of the noodles were too foamy and I did not like it.

The imitation abalone tasted like the usual surimi fare but it was shaped in abalone form.

October fifth abalone cheese biscuits

A good concept of Chinese biscuits with a hint of western elements however the taste did not match the concept.

The abalone cheese biscuit I had was sweet, there was no cheese taste at all!
The chocolate egg rolls probably taste normal because they are sweet anyway and the seaweed puff seems a good concept too but from the experience of the abalone puff I can imagine the seaweed puff tasting sweet!

Taiwanese imitation abalone slices

Inmitation abalone made from Squid slices.
It tastes quite nice as an appetizer but if it is heated up, the texture becomes tough.
