Continental sachet soups from Australia

My friend was in Auz, so took this opportunity to try some Auzzie supermarket products so got the Continental soups.
There were so many flavours to choose from.
It is interesting that they come in boxes which contain two sachets whereas in UK, you get four but it is good if you are in a small household or just want to try the different flavours.
There was steak and mushroom aka beef and mushroom but I decided to try the Dutch Curry with rice and Laksa with noodles.
The Continental Asian Laksa soup smells and tastes exactly like Batchelors Thai green curry soup with a strong coconut and chicken notes.
I haven't a clue what Dutch Curry is hence the curiosity to try this.
It was actually quite spicy but I only got two peas unlike 6 as shown in the product shot.
The pieces of rice were nice but they wouldn't go soft so they were a bit to hard and crunchy to eat.
Overall, apart from being a bit spicy, it was quite nice.

M&S Soft eating peach and nectarine

Finally, something other than dried apricots on the market.
It makes me wonder if there was a peach/nectarine surplus hence turned into soft eating snacks.
The nectarine and peach were both very different.
When you open the pouch, the smell isn't that pleasant but they taste good.
I was expecting the nectarine to taste nicer but it was chewy and a little tart, however the peach was similar to apricot but much sweeter and didn't have that crunch.
The peach pieces are the lighter colour ones and bigger ones while the nectarine pieces are the darker ones.

Harry Ramsdens Salt & Vinegar Hand Cooked crisps (Iceland)

Another nice option for Salt and Vinegar crisps with that extra crunch. I was hoping they would taste like Fish and Chips or like Burtons Fish and Chip snacks.

Aldi Diplomat Biscuit tea

Having tried the Yorkshire Biscuit tea which tastes like biscuits I had to get my hands on the Aldi dupe to compare.
Unfortunately, it is the same as the other Aldi teas, you get a lot of tea scum within seconds of putting hot water in the cup.
As soon as you pour the water in, the colour of the tea without milk goes extremely dark.
Sadly, the smell and taste of the biscuit was too light and over powered by the black tea base which was too strong and almost bitter.

itsu chicken bao bun

Ever since I saw this huge bao bun by itsu, I have always wanted to get it because it looks so big in this pretty box.
It was seriously fit to eat and best tasting chicken bun.
I've been put off by the ones in Asia as well as China town because the meat is not fresh and the bun is ready to choke you to death in texture as well as the sickening sickness.
Not even sure how they eat those buns but the itsu one was so good.
The chicken was real chicken pieces and not grounded fat and the bun texture was fluffy and not stodgily sticky.
Overall, itsu have made it look more presentable and hygienic.

Princessa summer edition pistachio brownie wafer

Bought the pistachio brownie wafer because it was an unusual flavour that I haven't seen at other Polish shops.
Visually, it looks like an oreo wafer with green filling.
It was quite nice and different and the powdery filling tasted a bit savoury but pistachio notes weren't strong.
Couldn't taste anything that like chocolate to make you think of brownies.
Other flavour spotted was the pink pina colada.

Waitrose Summer dessert chocolate strawberries

These chocolate strawberries are not chocolate dipped strawberries but strawberry shaped chocolate mousse with strawberry filling and a crispy base.
I got them because they looked nice so didn't have any expectations.
It was just rich chocolate mousse on the outside with some strawberry compote filling.
Overall, a nice looking high end patisserie treat from the supermarket which you can't get in some shit countries like Asia.
