[Review] Tesco Finest 4 Milk Chocolate & Orange Cookies

I'm so glad I got these chocolate orange cookies because they were amazing.
I hesitated getting them before because I wasn't sure if the orange was going to be artificial but it turns out to be orange zest.
The orange zest pieces were the star of the show with the chocolate pieces.
Definitely goes well with tea.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Blueberry & Coconut Pot

I was purely curious so I tried the Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Blueberry & Coconut Pot.

There is nothing wrong with it but I just felt that the creamy coconut taste was too overwhelming but it does taste like yoghurt with blueberries in it.

[Review] Morrisons Roasted Vegetable Pie

Tried the roasted vegetable pie from Morrisons and it was not how I expected it to be.

I was expecting vegetables in gravy but the filling was more like ratatouille which doesn't taste good with pastry.

I think vegetables with tomatoes taste better with pasta not pastry.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Our Best Ever Trifle

For years, I have been having the trifles at M&S which has always been flawless.
This year they have launched the M&S Marks and Spencers Our Best Ever Trifle. along with other products in the "Our Best Ever" range.
Their Best Ever trifle certainly intrigued me because trifle is essentially three four parts: cream, custard, sponge and jelly.
So with these four simple elements how could they make it more indulgent than the regular one.
After I tried it, I felt that the cream and custard was just the regular cream and custard they use but the jelly part was improved with raspberry compote which complemented it nicely.
It is interesting that their M&S Sherry trifle was also shockingly good because the vanilla custard had vanilla seeds and why they didn't use this in the Best Ever trifle because I thought it tasted really nice and vanilla seeds would look the part in the best ever trifle.
Overall, I liked it but I felt that it came in close ties their Sherry Trifle which is another delicious trifle.

[Review] Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers 4 Vegan No sausage mini rolls

The Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers 4 Vegan No sausage mini rolls were surprisingly delicious because they taste as good as greggs with the odd chewy soya bits in it.

[Fruit Review] Prickly Pears

Spotted these prickly pears at the market and they were affordable at 4 for a pound so decided to give them a try.
I thought the colours was related to the ripeness but the guy at the stall said the colour is just basically the colour of the flesh inside.
Since it was the flesh colour, I got a mix of colours and I was surprised how vibrant the flesh was.

It was similar to a dragonfruit but the pips were hard.
The texture was like watermelon and and it was surprisingly sweet and juicy but different colours taste different.
Personally I liked the green and orange because the taste was sweet and light.
The fuscia one was really sweet.

Overall, it was how I expected it to be but very different in taste to the nopal cactus which was viscous.

[Review] Yeo Valley Raspberry Yoghurt, Little yeos Fruity Fromage Frais and Natural Fromage Frais

Yeo Valley is a popular yoghurt in UK and they have so many flavours hence as a foodie I have been trying to get hold of their interesting flavours but you have to go to bigger supermarkets for them.
So far I have tried Yummy Plummy, Peach & Apricot and Little yeos.
I wasn't planning on trying raspberry but it was reduced so tried it.

The Raspberry yoghurt was a little disappointing because the raspberry seeds were annoying so in that respect I preferred little yeos because the raspberry was seedless but the taste of Little yeos wasn't as sweet because there was less sugar in them to be healthy.
With the Little Yeos, it is interesting that it follow the fromage frais format, ie the six pot as well as size but they only have two flavours strawberry and raspberry.
The sleeve is printed with some activities that children can play which matches the YEO valley style as the tubs are printed with stuff on the inside like tokens etc.

At another supermarket visit, I discovered they had just the natrual Little Yeos so I got that as well so this will be updated when I've tried it.

The Yeo Valley Peach & Apricot is another one that nice one that everyone likes.
