[Review] Marks & Spencers M&S Irish Farls

Farls meaning quadrant-shaped flatbreads and cakes, traditionally made by cutting a round into four pieces.
You will find Irish Soda Farls or Potato farls.
Personally I love potato farls because I am a fan of anything that is made with potatoes.
You eat them by putting them on the griddle with butter but I toast time.
They are similar to gnocchi but much softer so having melted cheddar cheese with them tastes amazing!!
They also taste good with the M&S Marmite butter.

[Review] Marks and Spencers Spicy Chicken Arrabbiata Wood Fired Pizza

In the past, M & S did some great Chili beef pizzas, now they have Spicy Chicken Arrabbiata Wood Fired Pizza which I decided to try.
In a way, it tasted similar to the chili beef.
The roquito peppers and chili definitely gave it a spicy kick.

[Review] Vivera 100% Plant Based Shawarma Kebab

I love kebabs so the Plant Based Shawarma Kebab aroused my curiosity to try.
As well as the packaged version, I found another place serving vegan kebab doners in London but after talking to them they are using a different brand so I will have to try it sometime when I get the chance.

Although the instructions say you have to heat it up, I tried a piece straight out the packet and the texture was meaty.

As for the taste it was heavily laced with the usual Middle Eastern spices so it tasted how it should taste.

I felt that the texture was a bit too chewy after it was cooked or it was possible that I over cooked it so next time I will probably try microwaving it.

[Review] Coop Irresistible Hand Finished Caramel Cake

There are not many toffee cakes, caramel cakes around these days so when I spotted this at Co-Op I decided to try it.
It was labelled as [Irresistible Hand Finished Caramel Cake - Caramel sponge filled with a salted caramel frosting, topped with a salted caramel buttercream and decorated with caramel sauce] but I believe the frosting is the hand finished part and cake was made in batches.

The sponge was firm and moist which gave a clean cut and it had a nice toffee aroma to it.

The only thing that let it down was the buttercream frosting which was a bit waxy leaving the mouth slightly oily with a plasticky film.

[Review] Jacobs Mini Cheddars blue cheese - Choose your cheese

Jacobs mini cheddars have always been mini cheddars.

Now you can get to choose by the cheese as it is available in Blue cheese,
Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack, Stilton, Red Leicester and Smoked Cheddar.
The smoked cheddar is predictable that it would just taste smokey but the one I was interested in trying was Blue Cheese which is considered a strong cheese.

It came in a lovely blue packet which makes a change from Orange.

When I opened the bag, there was a lovely strong cheese smell.

As for the taste, I loved it as the cheese kick was strong and satisfying if you love cheese.

Hopefully I can get hold of Stilton and Red Leicester as well.

[Review] Tasty Faba beans by Human Bean Co

Human Bean Co from Australia do these delicious air puffed faba beans which are crispy.

There are so many flavours: salted, salt and vinegar, lime and black pepper and pizza.

Coming from UK, the salt and vinegar were my favourite.
Basically the same taste as the Salt and Vinegar crisps but instead of potato crisps, you are munching on crunchy beans!!

I also tried the other flavours which I could relate to, so overall I was impressed with all the flavours and wouldn't mind snacking on them anytime of the day when I'm peckish especially the Salt and Vinegar!

Lime and Black Pepper:
It was crunchy beans with a zesty lime flavour complemented by a hint of black pepper.

Pizza:
The beans were reddish in colour with a tomato and cheesy flavour but I wouldn't say the cheese was that prominent!

[Review] Vegan Galaxy and Bounty Milkshake

I am a total fan of Mars Drinks.
In the range are Bounty, Galaxy, MilkyWay, M &Ms and Mars.

My favourites are Galaxy and Mars as they are always thick and creamy which satisfy your sweet cravings.
Now they have launched two vegan non dairy drinks with the use of oat milk and coconut milk for Galaxy and Bounty respectively.

As a foodie and a fan of these drinks I had to give them a try.
The catch is that you can only find them at ASDA at the moment.

So far tried the Bounty first.

I was expecting the drink to be white but it had cocoa according to the label.
The taste was not as sweet as I was anticipating with a strong coconut taste along with the mild chocolate.

The Galaxy was just as good with a creamier taste, it was smooth and silky so the non dairy oat milk tastes just as good.

To summarize, I think I prefer Bounty as a drink because chocolate and coconut makes it quite different.
