Circle K : Noodles with imitation abalone and crabsticks

The noodle set looked delicious with imitation abalone, crabsticks and it was cheap too so I tried it.

The noodles they use are Nissin Taisho (日清大將炒麵) which comes with sesame sauce or spicy sauce.

I tried both sauces, the sesame one was more delectable while the spicy one was too spicy, but the texture of the noodles were too foamy and I did not like it.

The imitation abalone tasted like the usual surimi fare but it was shaped in abalone form.

Mini taiyakis

Saw these cute Taiyakis so got them, they are smaller than the usual ones.
There were two types, one made with pancake mixture and the other was made with glutinous rice mixture which looks white and uncooked.

There were lots of different fillings to choose from: chocolate, sesame, custard, cream cheese, blueberry, red beans and caramel.
Blueberry tasted the most artificial.

The glutinous rice ones were nice but tasted a bit dough like and there was a lot of condensation coming from it too because it was in the bag for a while so they are best eaten imediately.

It was fun watching them make it, because when they were ready, they flick them in the basket with chopsticks and it looks like little fishes flying in the air.

Limited edition Pink Lemonade Lucozade

Launched in late 2012, this limited edition pink lemonade Lucozade bottle is pink with a silver cap.

The pink lemonade inside is quite sweet but does not taste strong of Lemon.

McCurry Burger Hong Kong

WARNING: The McCurry burger is really spicy!

Tried the new McCurry burger and it was spicier than I thought it would be!!

So be warned.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
McCurry burger:
The McCurry burger is spiked with tumeric, chili, black pepper and cloves.

It is a quarter pounder topped with McCurry sauce and diced onions.
Basically the burger was REALLY spicy and this was the spiciest burger I have tried at McDonald's and it was even spicier than the chili hot wings.
There is a MEGA McCurry too which has a double quarter pounder patty.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Iced Fresh lemon tea:

Basically this was plain red tea served with lemon slices in it with a separate tub of syrup.
The bitterness of the lemon rind made the tea really bitter and the tea itself was quite bitter.

Although this was too spicy for my liking I would love to try the burgers at the McDonalds in India such as the McPaneer.

FREY CHOCOBLOC ORANGE

Similar to Toblerone, this Chocobloc is by FREY, and it is chocolate with orange powder and honey-almond nougat.

However the chocolate is hard to break because of the way they molded it.

This is really addictive because the taste of orange is natural and strong with pieces of chewy honey-almond in it.

Abalone biscuits from Lun He Yuan in Foshan

My friend got me these from Foshan, they look like flat spiral cookies.

The texture of these are quite hard and they taste savory.
They remind me of Western Palmiers or Elephant ears which are made from puff pastry and butter.

A-Sha Dry Noodle Sesame Flavour 麻醬

Got these delicious noodles from a friend.
Basically they are noodles mixed in the sachet of sauce they give you.
The sesame sauce was really nice because the Taiwanese version is more savoury and not as sweet as the Hong Kong version and the sesame taste was strong.

Other flavours in this range I that I have tried:
阿舍食堂外省乾麵麻醬
Jah Jang Flavour
