LOTTE ALMOND CRISPY (RICH NUT)

Another addictive chocolate from my friend, they are chocolate covered almonds, the chocolate on the outside has crispy bits and pieces of crushed nuts giving it an even more nutty texture.

MARKET O real brownie

A cute box of brownies manufactured by the Koreans.

Each brownie is individual wrapped with various of designs.

The taste of these brownies were quite dense and sweet, and there was a strong alcoholic smell and taste due to the alcoholic preservative used.

LOTTE Almond Choco Ball

Initially I got these chocolates confused with Meiji's almond chocolates because they are both almonds coated with chocolate.

Anyway, this was a box of eight chocolates present in a tray.

The taste of these chocolates were better than Meiji because they are not so sweet and the chocolate tastes like Galaxy's chocolate.

Thanks to my sweet friend for these yummy chocolates.

Ottogi shrimp ramen

Tried this Korean shrimp noodles by Ottogi.

As you would expect, Korean noodles are usually hot.

The noodles were quite thick so it takes ages for them to go soft!

Overall the taste did not really impress me however those pink protein things were interesting.

cled'or Red Carpet cheesecake icecream

The strawberry flavour tasted really fake, and the packaging was really similar to Haagan Daaz that people asked me what flavour of HD it was.

The tub was not good because it was not rigid after you took the lid off.

MyungDong Instant Rice Cake Soup

The rice cakes I have tried before were the Shanghainese types and it seems that the Koreans have a similar thing.

Rice cakes usually come vacumn packed or in brine.

As these are instant ones I was curious how they would be packed, it turns out they are also vacumned packed inside.
I never tried them before because Korean food is usually spicy and this one is not hence I got them to try.
The broth tasted nice but I didnt really like the ricecakes and they were too chewy and I had already put them in boiling soup for at least five minutes.
There was a slight sour taste taste to the ricecakes.
The broth was nice and colourful, it had pieces of dehydrated eggs and seaweed.

Ottogi cheese bokki

Got these cup noodles that were cheese flavoured.

They are Korean and the instructions did not make sense to me so I guessed the instructions.

I poured boiling water to the level marking on the outside of the bowl which is lower than the indented ridge in the bowl and then added the cheese powder.

After a while the noodles were soft and ready to eat.

I did not like it at all because the texture of the noodles were foamy and the cheese did not taste like cheese.
It just tasted like milk powder with a hint of cheese and it was sweet.

McDonalds: Korea

McDonalds in Korea
There was nothing overly exciting with the Korean McDonalds, but it had some English on it.
