Walkers oven baked with veg review

These Walkers oven baked with veg are not that new but got them because they were reduced to 10p at boots.

It was beetroot with sweet chili jam.

When you opened the bag, they smelled nice and had a nice crunch but overall too sweet for my liking.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Reduced Fat Bacon Rashers snacks

A while ago I tried these Marks and Spencers Reduced Fat Bacon Rashers snacks which are square shaped with a pink stripes like bacon.
Unfortunately they were a bit bland but perhaps it was light on seasoning because they are reduced fat snacks.

[Review] Lidl's snacktastic Classic and Meaty assorted crisps

I don't often shop at Lidl unless there is something exciting or specific but recently I was given some Lidl crisp and they were addictive.
Before mentioning the taste, the texture of the crisps were to my liking as they were delicate and crispy without being too hard.
So there are two assortment bags you can buy: Classic or Meaty.
In the classic you get ready salted, salt and vinegar and cheese and onion and the Meaty you get roast chicken, roast beef and smoky bacon.
In general, I wouldn't mind buying them again but the flavours are not full on but in a good way it would be healthier.
The Worcester sauce and prawn cocktail are my favourites because they are tasty.

[Review] Walkers - The power of the Sausage Roll

I am always excited when Walkers launch new crisps as a foodie.
This time it was the power of the Sausage Roll which are vegetarian.
When I opened the packet, there was a smell of freshly baked sausage rolls so they nailed it in terms of the aroma.
However the taste was lacking it a bit because I couldn't quite get that herby taste, it was just like eating roast beef crisps.
I like Walkers humour where no sausage rolls were harmed in the making of the crisps!

Iceland were the first to stock them but now Tescos have it too with a cute stand.

[Review] oho smart snacks with dill

Dill is everywhere in the Russian cuisine hence dill flavoured snacks are not surprising.
I love dill so these were good but it was not as strong as hoped.
They tasted like quavers with the cheese toned down with a hint of dill.

Addictive Lomo Crisps bay Awfully Posh

At Spanish restaurants you will always find Jamon ham and melon as starters while for tapas and mains you will find these delicious crispy Parma ham crisps in soups or scrambled truffle egg to accentuate the taste like bacon bits.
I am totally addicted to these crispy Parma ham pieces that it would be an ideal snack.

Enter Lomo Crisps by Awfully Posh, Lomo meaning pork loin.
These are the snacks I have been looking for because they taste like crispy Parma ham yet they are much leaner, gluten free and rich in protein.
If you look at the slices, you can see it is almost 100% pure slice of pork loin that was air dried.'
These snacks are going to be popular with bacon lovers.
Who knows, these Lomo crisps could also be for Spanish restaurants and other chefs to take their dishes to the next level!

Currently you can get them online at: www.britishsnackco.com/store
As well as Lomo crisps by Awfully Posh, I spotted Pork Scratchings at Waitrose

Examples of how I was served crispy parma ham at the restaurants:

Bubble waffle with crispy parma ham at Lof10, cold melon soup with crispy parma ham and scrambled egg with crispy parma ham that's barely visible topped with truffle at Cobo House.
