Koikeya Feel Aloha Chips coconut & salt

I was captivated by the interesting coconut and salt crisps by Koikeya which has this Hawaiian design on the packaging.
Sadly the taste was awful.
While I was expecting a savoury taste, it was sweet so I can imagine the mango and butter flavour by Koikeya to taste bad!

Tried the [FUJIYA] Bake Shop Almond Brownie which turned out to be too sweet and dry.

Basically [Baby Star] are a Japanese brand of snacks.
This packet happens to be fried ramen that look like thick printer cables and that's it!

TOHATO BOKUN Habanero Pepper Lemon

I love lemon and pepper so these potato hoops were addictive yet at the same time I found them way to spicy for my tastebuds so I couldn't eat it all in one go.

Nestle purple potato kitkat (Japan)

Japanese Nestle purple potato kitkat.
Very sugary like white chocolate and the purple potato tasted a bit like playdoh.

Bourbon Blanchul purple sweet potato choco cookies

These thin butter cookies looked nice but were too sweet and the filling tasted like sweet potato white chocolate.
Most of the fillings were stuck together because they had melted.

Nissin Tom Yum Goong Flavour crisps

These crisps are under the Nissin Koikeya series.

They also have a spicy cheese and a spicy flavour as well.

I found the crisps spicier than the cup noodles because the chili powder was evenly distributed on the crisps.

Nampo Benimo Tart

I was given this box of Sweet purple potato Benimo tarts from a friend who went to Japan.

Inside the box, there were three individually packed tarts, which were delicious because the tart base was not too hard and the sweet purple potato filling was velvety with a fragrant taste that was not too sweet.

Other tarts in the series.

Frito-lay Rich Giza Spicy Grill chicken snacks

These snacks look like mini crinkle cut squares and Shreddies cornflakes.
As for the taste, it had a strong black pepper taste and they were quite salty.

Korean and Japanese delights from 7-eleven Hong Kong

Thanks to 7-eleven for sending me these goodies featuring popular Korean pot noodles and Japanese sweet treats.

For Korean goodies we have: Vilac Cup Rice and Noodle, Ottogi Japchae noodles, Hanil Jajeng Myeon
Japanese goodies there are: Ribon Okinawan donuts, Shoeido Swiss rolls and Koubo croissant buns

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Korean Hanil Jajeng Myeon HKD$17.9:
These were quick and convenient to eat, simply empty the noodles in the box and pour the sauce on top and heat in the microwave as advised.
The noodles were soft and chewy in delicious sweet sauce.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Korean Ottogi Japchae – HOT
Springy glass noodles in sweet and spicy sauce with pieces of beef in it.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Korean Vilac Cup Rice and Noodle – Spicy Seafood $12.9
This is the most interesting cup I have tried, because there was Rice and noodles!!!
It would be great if there was a non spicy version to cater for people who can't eat spicy foods!

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Japanese Koubo croissant buns $12.5
There is a choice of chocolate or strawberry and they were best eaten slightly warmed by heating in a microwave because the paste inside becomes soft.
Personally I liked the chocolate.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Japanese Shoeido Swiss rolls $13.9
These rolls were surprisingly big and filling!
There is caramel and chocolate and both were soft and moist.
It is hard to say which flavour is better because both were good.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Japanese Okinawan RIBON donuts $10.9
There are two flavours: original and black sugar.
Black sugar had more depth in flavour so I preferred the black sugar.
