THE world’s first lickable lift has been installed in an office block in a bid to elevate the mood of city workers.
The edible lift has 1,325 Jaffa Cakes stuck on its walls to provide staff with a tasteful alternative to a traditional glass elevator.
McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes took inspiration from the lift featured in the Willy Wonka film to come up with the design.
The unique advertising campaign has taken food technicians and artists four weeks to develop.
It has been installed at communications company Engine’s offices in Great Portland Street, London.
McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes chief Philippa Tilley said: “We are all about bringing a bit more fun to life.
“This was the perfect way to get a little joy straight to stressed-out office workers.”
