[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers gastropub Pulled Beef Porcini En Croutes

A while ago I got the Marks and Spencers gastropub Pulled Beef Porcini En Croutes which is basically pulled beef wrapped in pastry dough.
Each one was filled with chunky beef which satisfies your beef craving.
The only thing that let it down was the porcini mushrooms as they were barely noticable.
Overall, I liked it because the quality of the beef was good.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer 4 All Butter English Muffins

Muffins are pretty basics which taste good with butter and whatever you fill them with.
I decided to get some muffins and had egg with it and they were good as expected.
The muffins split and toasted nicely.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Free Range 12 British Large Eggs

Eggs are just eggs but these Marks and Spencers Free Range British Large Eggs turned out to be really good!
The yolk was vibrant orange in colour and they were tasty with just a sprinkle salt.
I had chickens in my garden that were roaming freely and these eggs are just as good as the ones my chickens laid so I definitely recommend these eggs.

[Review] Lidl Lighthouse Bay 2 Salmon Fillets

I don't really shop at lidl but someone does because I only go to Lidl for specific things like new products or something they offer and others do not.
Anyway, someone always gets the Lidl Lighthouse Bay 2 Salmon Fillets which are surprisingly good if you don't over cook it.
The fillets are reasonably fresh and taste good.

[Review] Morrisons The Butchers Market Peppercorn Sauce

A while ago I got some peppercorn sauce from a different supermarket and it was tasteless so I was iffy about trying this.
To my surprise, the peppercorn sauce tasted how it should just like the peppercorn sauce that you are served in restaurants.
The peppercorn sauce had a nice peppery kick without being too creamy.
I paired the peppercorn sauce with salmon and they went together so perfectly.

[Review] Sainsbury's Danish Pastry Raisin Whirls x 2 - £1.20

While I was at Sainsbury's I spotted these Iced Danish Whirls so got them.
These iced raisin whirls were unexpectedly good.
They looked dry but I was ok with that because it just means less butter in the pastry.
The cinnamon jelly in the middle was delicious and the best thing was that there was an interesting almond aftertaste which was a bonus.
According to the ingredients from the Sainsbury's website, it does not contain any almond.

[Review] Youngs GASTRO 2 Signature Lemon & Pepper Fish Fillets 300G

A while ago I tried Young's Chip Shop Beer Batter Fillets which were really problematic as they just didnt cook well in the oven.
This time I tried the GASTRO Signature Lemon & Pepper Fish Fillets which were much better.
There was a nice lemon smell and a good black pepper kick.
The breaded coating was nice and crispy but after a few bites the lemon scent smelled like artificial lemon essence.
