[Review] Nestle Milkybar Milk Slice

From memory, the first ever milk slice I tried was Kinder Milk Slice which was divine.
I rarely see Kinder Milk Slices these days so I have been trying other similar variants like the Milbona Milk Creme Sandwich which didn't taste good.

Discovered the Milkbar Milk Slice which seems to be new according to the box but it is not new because someone reviewed it in 2017.

To my surprise, I loved it because it was creamy while the milk filling was fluffy and soft.
The thin slice of cake that was sandwiching it worked in harmony.
The sweetness overall was just right and goes well with a cup of tea.

[Review] Iceland Cocoa Chicken & Green Rice

Ever since I spotted the cocoa chicken at Iceland, it was on my list to try because cocoa works well in food.

Previously tried Mexican chicken mole which is chicken in savoury chocolate sauce.
The Cocoa Chicken & Green Rice from Iceland is cooked shredded chicken in a tomato and chipotle chili sauce with cocoa powder, served with cooked long grain rice with spinach and green chili puree.
After taking the sleeve off, you could see that some of the chicken was not in sauce which is why you have to stir it halfway through so that the chicken will be get mixed with the sauce.

Having had bad experience reheating rice by the microwave, the cocoa chicken was steamed which helps soften the rice and chicken.

The Cocoa Chicken & Green Rice was promising, the sauce was a tad too sweet but there were lots of purple onions and shredded chicken.
According to the ingredients, there was chili but I did not find it spicy compared to other curry meals or Mexican dishes.

As for the rice, I loved how green it was mixed with lots of spinach but again it wasn't spicy as the ingredients say there was chili paste in the rice.
There was a strong taste of parsley in the rice though.

Overall I would recommended trying this and and hope they bring back the Iceland Limited Edition Chocolate Chicken Curry 375g.

[Review] Eat Real Dill flavoured Lentil Chips

Eat Real Healthier Snacking is a brand that offers healthy snacks made from ingredients like Quinoa, Kale, Hummus, Lentil etc.
There are so many options to choose from.

Ended up buying the Eat Real Dill flavoured Lentil Chips and Eat Real Hummus Lemon and Chili.
Started on the Lentil Chips first and they were so addictive.
They are quite crunchy and hard in terms of texture, as for the taste they reminded me of Cheese Quavers.
The only disappointment was the lack of Dill in the taste.

[Review] Tesco Rice Noodles

At Tesco, they have a good range for Chinese food, you can buy the ready made meals or ingredients to cook yourself.

I was quite impressed with the rice vermicelli (rice noodles) which stir fried nicely.
If you are thinking of cooking Singapore noodles, you can buy the plain or they have a curried version where you just add other ingredients like vegetables and meat.

[Review] Halo Top Strawberry Cheesecake Bar

Before trying Halo Bar Space Candy icecream at the pop up Halo Bank in London I was already aware of this brand as they have desserts and icecream bars at the super market.
On the recent visit to the supermarket decided to get the Halo Top Strawberry Cheesecake bar to try.

The strawberry cheesecake had a lovely creamy taste yet it wasn't heavy but the only complaint was that the icecream bar seemed to have melted and frozen back inside the wrapper.

[Review] Muller UniCorner Strawberry Yogurt

I have been on the look out for the Muller UniCorner ever since it was launched in April.
Finally found the individual pots at Morrisons.

The lid is girly with a matching strawberry yoghurt inside with pearlescent blue and rose pink crunchy balls.

When I peel the lid off, I tried some of the yoghurt that was on the lid.
The strawberry was pleasant and not that artificial which was good.

First things first is to have fun, so I took my time decorating the yoghurt with these balls.
There is a good amount of both colours for you to play around with.
Here was my decorated yoghurt.

Finished my yoghurt after taking pictures and it was quite nice, the crunchy balls are quite sweet so they go well with the yoghurt.

As well as Muller UniCorner, the gingerbread one is fun but unfortunately they come in multi packs.

[Review] Morrisons Donuts

Morrisons donuts caught my attention during Halloween when they had these donuts with green filling.
Visited Morrisons in late November and finally saw the pineapple and raspberry donuts which had green fillings.
It is interesting how mixing pineapple and raspberry jam can come out green.
There was also Winterberry Donuts which is blackberry and raspberry filling according to someone in Instagram.

Anyway, ended up getting the strawberry donuts as they come in a pack of 5 as no one fancied sharing the pineapple.

I was a bit disappointed with the strawberry donut overall because the strawberry filling smelled and tasted artificial while the donut had a slight bitter aftertaste.
