Of mice and men
Of mice and men is a book written by John Steinbeck, nothing to do with food, but I just found it to be a good title for two mousey stories.

Cadbury's Rocky road chocolate bar
I have tried Rocky road ice cream, but not exactly Rocky road chocolate.
The chocolate version is slightly different to the ice-cream, it contains cherry flavoured jellies, peanuts, coconut and marshmallow.
The marshallows in the chocolate were hard and chalky, and the cherry flavoured jellies tasted like lipstick with a hint of rose.
So overall I did'nt like that artificial taste, however the chocolate itself was visually quite pretty with colourful bits in it, especially the jellies.

Dirty chinese take-aways in Hong Kong
Its not the first time I have seen Hong Kong takeaways put their food on the floor!
This was taken whilst the person was delivering some food to someone and the bags on the floor are for some other person they are yet to deliver!
Japanese octopus flavoured soda
Shame this drink doesnt have a website, but the Japanese have come up with these weird fizzy drinks that have a marble at the bottleneck, and you need to push the marble down into the bottle in order to drink it, the bottle neck is obviously smaller than the marble so the marble stays safely in the bottle when you drink it.
Anyway the cool thing about the drink is its unusual flavour, "grilled octopus"
There are nine flavours in total:
1)Original
2)Strawberry
3)Grapefruit
4)Apple
5)Melon
6)Kimchi
7)Chestnut
8)Grilled Octopus
9)Peach
I wish I got the Chestnut one too, maybe next time!!
After trying the grilled octopus flavour, I felt it tasted weird, there was a slight sweetness to it, and it somehow tasted like beer.
The aftertaste was horrible, it was like a mix of wine and old oil.

Freeze dried peaches
Usually dried fruit comes in the form of apples, strawberries and banana.
Came across peach which I have never seen before, so got a pack.
Basically its texture is light and brittle, if it was less sweet it would taste better.
I tried putting a few pieces in a cup of Jasmine tea, and it gave it some delicate
peach aroma.
The packaging gave the impression it was from the U.S but after looking at the origin, I was shocked to find out it was a product from China.
Really cool mooncake packaging from DHL 2010
Was sent some mooncakes from DHL, the packaging was so cute.
Each tray contained a mooncake, the box was the best!
It takes an accquired taste to like it, especially when they mix weird sweet stuff with a salty egg yolk inside.
