Dehydrated Cantaloupe melon (Low Sugar) by Jfruit

You don't often see dehydrated cantaloupe melon which was I why I had to try it.
Usually the dehydrated fruits you find are mango, pineapple, bananas, apricots and others.

The packaging was really good, it looked like a melon, inside the packet were individual packets.
The taste and texture was interesting, it was chewy but sweeter than the fresh form.
Jfruit is from Thailand, so rest assured there is English labelling and nutritional facts printed on the pack.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on their dehydrated mangosteen!

Hephzibah strawberry slices

Thanks to Ivy for getting me these freeze dried strawberry slices.
Interestingly they are Korean.
I had the illusion they were from Israel or the middle east because the brand is called Hephzibah which sounds Middle eastern and in the middle east, there are lots of dried fruit produces because of the climate.

The strawberry slices were crispy and the taste was really impressive because it was natrually sour which meant there were no artificial sweeteners.

The smell of fresh strawberries could be smelt from the slices.

wel.b Freeze dried lychee

Usually freeze dried fruits are strawberries, apples and bananas but the wel.b brand from Thailand offers some exotic choices such as durian and lychee.

I managed to get hold of some lychee, and if I could, I would have got durian as well.

There did not seem much lychee in the bag when I shook it, it seemed like as if it was filled with air.

When I opened the bag, the smell of lychee was extremely intense.

The taste of these freeze dried lychees were amazing, it had a crispy and sweet texture, and it was slightly chewy in the middle where the stone used to be.

Freeze dried peaches

Usually dried fruit comes in the form of apples, strawberries and banana.

Came across peach which I have never seen before, so got a pack.

Basically its texture is light and brittle, if it was less sweet it would taste better.

I tried putting a few pieces in a cup of Jasmine tea, and it gave it some delicate
peach aroma.

The packaging gave the impression it was from the U.S but after looking at the origin, I was shocked to find out it was a product from China.
