M&S marks spencers roast turkey meal for one review

I love roast turkey and roast dinner ready meals so got the M&S marks spencers roast turkey meal for one which had turkey, potatoes, Yorkshire, pigs in blankets, stuffing, carrots and peas.

It has been available since Christmas and I am glad it is till being offered in February so I am not too late to try it.

Overall, everything was spot on especially the turkey because it was tender and moist however I am not a fan of carrots.

The only that went wrong was that I burnt the Yorkshire and stuffing in the oven otherwise it would have been a perfect dinner.

Walkers oven baked with veg review

These Walkers oven baked with veg are not that new but got them because they were reduced to 10p at boots.

It was beetroot with sweet chili jam.

When you opened the bag, they smelled nice and had a nice crunch but overall too sweet for my liking.

Waitrose Fish Pie Review

You can never go wrong with a fish pie but unfortunately the one from Waitrose was disappointing.
With other fish pies the mash and filling are uniform but with this one the fish was all clumped in the middle.
The texture of the fish was clumped and too firm for my liking.

Multi coloured Swirling star fizzer from Poundland Review

So far I have only reviewed two star fizzers and this is my third.
It was only a pound from Poundland so I got two incase they were crumbly like the superdrug one.
The box was nice and colourful and the smell was my favourite out of the three because it was strawberry and not something floral.
It was easy taking it out of the wrap and most importantly it didn't break like the superdrug one which was the most expensive.
The fizzer floated when I put it in the bath so it did its job and the colours came out nicely.
You end up in a tub of blue water but the only thing to be careful is not to touch the blue fizzing bit because it is hard to wash off.
The most impressive thing was that the fizzer lasted like forever, my bath was full and it still there and kept going.
Overall, I was really pleased and definitely recommend this.

Leone Rose Cones

A few years ago Rose shaped icecream were the trend at Icecream parlours and gelato shops but there were no retail ones that you could buy and eat at home.
Last year (2020), Coop had these rose shaped cones for Valentines as well as Leone rose cones with a choice of three flavours.
I suspect Leone is the supplier for Coop because the other icecreams they do are also sold at Coop but under the Coop brand.
Anyway, I finally got my hands on Leone Rose cones because they were sold at LIDL for 1.89 for four.
The three flavours are: Blueberry cheesecake, Vanilla hazelnut and Strawberry.
Aesthetically. the strawberry and blueberry are the prettiest but as I have already tried strawberry from Coop, I was deciding between the blueberry cheesecake and vanilla hazelnut.
Ended up getting the vanilla hazelnut because I like hazelnut.
As for the taste, the vanilla top was rather bland and not at all too sweet and when you get further down there is chocolate icecream with chocolate sauce.
Overall, not a bad ice cream but taste wise I wouldn't say it tasted amazing.

Grace Hot Pepper Sauce Very Hot!

Got this randomly from the shop and I had no idea that Grace would be a popular brand until I found it on influenster.
Since I do write about food and snacks on my blog, I joined influenster to review products here.
The bottle is slim and quite ergonomic to hold.
As for the taste, I love the hot kick it had.
I found it tasting similar to Tabasco with less of a paprika taste so I really liked it.

M&S Marks and Spencer Rope Grown Scottish Mussels in white wine and parsley

Previously tried the garlic shallot mussels at M&S and they were good so this time got the white wine and parsley.
The mussels come in two vacumn sealed bags which make it convenient to cook by immersing the bags in hot water.
Cooked these mussels with pasta and samphire and it was delicious.
The only complaint was that the mussels were a bit gritty this time.
