[Review] Morrisons Redskin Peanuts

I have never been a fan of peanuts because the ones I have had were either rancid or too crunchy and basically they are just not tasty.
One afternoon, there was a lovely smell coming from the kitchen from these spices and to my surprise peanuts were being roasted.
The roasted peanuts were so tasty and the texture was to my liking as they were not too crunchy with a chew.
These roasted peanuts have inspired a next batch with different flavourings such as fermented red beancurd and also Sichuan flavours.
These peanuts were boiled in salt, pepper, cloves and aniseed before being roasted in the oven and once you eat them you can't stop.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Cook with Lamb Gravy

Compared to the other gravies at M&S, this one contains red wine so the taste of this gravy had some slight bitterness to it and also quite salty.

I used it on my Christmas crumpet with peas and they all tasted nice together.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Ultimate crumpets

At M&S, there are two types of crumpets, ultimate grains and ultimate sourdough.
The sourdough ones are the best as they are just simply soft and flufly.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers 6 Christmas crumpets

For years, shaped crumpets have been popular at the supermarkets but I don't recall seeing any on my frequent trips to M&S.
Finally M&S are in the shaped crumpet game with these adorable festive Christmas tree shaped crumpets which I couldn't resist getting.
I suddenly had this idea of topping it with something green so guacamole was an option but then after eating the M&S fish cakes with a layer of green peas, I decided that crushed peas would be the solution and to go with peas I decided to surround the crumpet with M&S Lamb gravy.
To prevent the crumpet getting soggy, you can elevate the toasted crumpet by putting pulled ham beneath it as the base or whatever you fancy.
The results were quite yummy if you like gravy and peas.

[Review] Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers Roast Flavour Pieces

After trying the Plant Pioneers sausage roll, this time I got the Plant Pioneers Roast Flavour Pieces which are chicken style pieces coated in a roast flavour marinade made with garlic powder and rosemary.
The appearance of these pieces look like sausage slices.
As for the taste it was a bit bland and sadly I didn't like the texture.
Will be updating this post again as I will try adding some sauces to see if it enhances the taste.

[Review] Oyakata Miso Ramen

Spotted these black stylish Ajinomoto Oyakata cup noodles a while ago hence decided to try them.
Tried the Oyakata miso ramen which comes in a strong miso broth but sadly the noodles do not absorb the broth flavours well.
Compared to other cup noodle lids, the foil lid on this one was really good because you can fold it around the cup after adding hot water and the lid will stay down keeping the steam in while you are waiting.
Overall, not bad but I wouldn't buy this again.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chocolate Sponge Roll

Marks and Spencers Chocolate Sponge Roll is a classic.
Chocolate sponge roll coated in sugar filled with chocolate buttercream.
Always great with a cup of tea.
