After Eight sticks and Limited Orange & Mint discovered at ASDA

After Eight sticks and Limited Orange & Mint discovered at ASDA.

I think I am going to like the sticks because the chocolate is going to be crunchier.

It just so happens that one was already opened so I took a photo of it.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Although I have almost tried everything at M&S, it was my first time trying their ice cream.
I got the Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Salted Caramel Ice Cream which looks similar to their West Country Luxury yoghurt.
The ice cream did not disappoint and I was glad I got the Salted caramel ice cream because it was rich and creamy and not too sweet with a lovely salty kick to it.

I also paired it with sweet potatoes inspired by the Japanese purple potato with icecream and it was a match made in heaven.

[Review] Morrisons 2 Breakfast Slices

I was really excited to discover the Morrisons Breakfast slices!!

They are basically the usual slices stuffed with breakfast ingredient such as sausages and beans so I couldn't wait to try them to see how they compares with Greggs.

Morrisons version was filled with quite a fair amount of sausage slices and beans but it was a bit too dry and starchy because of the beans.

The pastry was a bit too thick and hard for my liking but overall worth trying because it is Morrisons.

[Review] Sainsbury's Cinnamon Swirls

In general the sweet treats at Sainsbury's are really good.
This time I got the Cinnamon Swirls which are delicious because the filling is just moreish and the pastry is not too buttery or dry.

[Review] Sainsburys Eccles Cake

I have never tried an Eccles cake so decided to try some.
You can get these Eccles cake at almost any supermarket but as I was at Sainsburys I got them from there.
The Sainsburys ones were quite big compared to M&S.
Although they are called cakes, there is no cake element in it.
It was two big round puff pastries with currant mince in the middle hence the reason I didn't try them before because I got currants and raisins mixed up.
The puff pastry was quite hard and in the middle there was a generous amount of currant mince.
Overall not bad but I would prefer eating other sweet treats.
According to wiki, you are supposed to eat them warm paired with some aged cheese which makes sense because the currant mince is similar to Quince.
