[Review] Co-op Prawn and Mayo Sandwich

The Co-op Prawn and Mayo Sandwich was how it should be but wasn't a bit memorable.
The only thing I remembered was that it was not uniformly filled and the sandwich was slightly soggy.

Had this sandwich again a year later and the mayonnaise was much tastier.

[Review] Morrisons Cambozola Cheese

Tried Morrisons Cambozola Cheese which is basically blue brie.
I thought the taste was mild but you do get the aftertaste from the penicillin.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Chocolate Cherry Pots

I love the combination of Chocolate and Cherry so got Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Chocolate Cherry Pots.

When I put my spoon in it, the texture of the chocolate was rather firm and dense with a bit of dryness.
Luckily, the taste proved it worthy as it literally melted in my mouth which was relieving because I feel psychologically bad that it will clog the arteries like those waxy chocolates that leave a film over your tongue.

At first the chocolate was a bit rich and sweet but you get strangely accustomed to it.
I recommend having this dessert with Earl Grey Tea without milk to balance out the richness.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers 4 Black Pudding Slices

I love Black pudding which is always the star of the show at breakfast.
Normally I have it as part of breakfast at greasy spoons but saw some black pudding slices at Marks and Spencers so got some.
The Black Pudding Slices are specially made by Macsween of Edinburgh according to the label.

They smelled really nice when I took them out the packet and put them in the pan.
Halfway through pan frying there was a horrible smell but after it cooled down, the black pudding was normal and super yummy.

As I didn't cook the full breakfast, I crushed the black pudding on toast and it was just delicious because of the spices and blood.

The second time  I simply put the black pudding slices in a halogen oven which worked wonders as oil wasn't needed and the taste was fantastic so I will definitely be buying more soon.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Gooseberry Fool

Fruit fools are a favourite dessert of mine which are basically fruit mixed with whipped cream which has a mousse texture.
The popular ones are gooseberry and strawberry.

Personally I think the gooseberry is my favourite because it is refreshing and light, whereas strawberry is on the sweeter side.

Strawberry fruit fool I had in 2014:

[Review] Sainsburys Taste the Difference Heritage Raspberry & Sherry Trifle

I love Trifle so got the Sainsburys Taste the Difference Heritage Raspberry & Sherry Trifle over Christmas which was a family sized portion.
Smaller pots are also available.

The trifle is basically layers of Heritage raspberry compote, Amontillado sherry-soaked all butter vanilla sponge and Madagascan vanilla custard, topped with sweetened cream.
It was good treat for Christmas but I found it too sweet and overwhelming especially the sweetened cream on top which was a bit waxy.
Top marks for the presentation though with shimmering dust on the cream.

[Review] Tesco Cream Slice

Cream slices are my all time favourite with tea.
Tesco has two type of cream slices, the fresh ones and the frozen one which are sold overseas.
I just love the puff pastry slices filled with cream, strawberry jam.
Some might argue the puff pastry is a bit soft but I'm okay with that as it won't make a mess.
The fondant icing on top is simply delicious.
