[Restaurant Review] Taco Bell in Eastbourne

Taco Bell is as fast food chain from USA serving Mexican style fast food like Burritos and Quesadilla etc.
There is now a Taco Bell at the former post office location facing the old Curzon cinema.
It is interesting how Eastbourne is getting gentrified with new chains and shops.
Will we see Burger King return or see burger chains like Five Guys or Shake Shack opening?

Anyway, the first time I had Taco Bell was in Croydon which is quite busy at night times.

The Eastbourne branch is quite spacious, wheelchair friendly and the staff at the till was really nice, he even explained the receipt clearly and told me his name if I needed anything else which is rare these days.

Ordered the Double cheesy black beans burrito to compare to the one I had in Croydon.
The menu is divided into a few sections: tacos, burritos, meatless, shareables, cravers and desserts etc.

++++++++++
Double cheesy black beans burrito:
The black bean burrito made my day as the cheese was not too overwhelming while the black beans were firm and not too starchy complemented by the al dente rice.
Overall, the burrito tasted as good as the first one I had in Croydon.

+++++++++
There are hot sauces available at the condiments area as well as mayonnaise.

Kelsey park

Nice park in Beckenham to see squirrels and cherry blossoms.

[Review] Perfect Fried Chicken Strafford

I love chicken from Perfect Fried Chicken.
The Stratford branch is small compared to other branches but the chicken is always good and the staff are polite and super friendly.

Quaker Go Porridge pop up at Tesco

During the weekend, Quaker had a booth in Tesco to promote their porridge.

You get to choose two toppings with your porridge so I chose strawberries and syrup to balance the strawberries in case they were sour.

For convenience, I always have some plain Quaker oats at home when I'm hungry but the flavoured ones are also convenient.

[Review] Morrisons Bacon Noodles

In UK, the most popular instant noodle brand would probably be Batchelors super noodles which comes in Bacon, Beef etc.
Most supermarkets have their version of instant noodles where the flavours you get are normally curry or chicken.
I was surprised that Morrisons had Bacon and Beef so got them both to try.

Tried the Bacon noodles first.

When I opened the flavouring sachet, it had the usual smoky bacon smell.

After cooking the noodles and tossing it in the flavoring, I found the taste was more sweet compared to Batchelors and it wasn't that salty.
Overall, you had the smell of bacon but I found it bland.

[Review] M & S Food Chili and Cheese Hot Cross Buns 2020

Hot Cross Buns are getting fancier each year.
Back in 2015, M & S Food had toffee and fudge, 4 berries and cherries.

This year, there is a savory hot cross bun at M & S Food along with chocolate flamingoes and chocolate sloth Easter Eggs!!

I was definitely up for trying the Chili and Cheese Hot Cross Buns so finally found a M & S Food that had it.

When I took it out the packet, it felt sticky so I was worried the bun was going to be sweet.
Thankfully it was deliciously savoury with quite a fiery kick that over powered the cheese.
Overall, I was not shocked by the flavours because it was just like eating savoury bread but in the form of a soft sticky hot cross bun.

Off the topic, I was also captivated by the Rhubarb hot cross buns at Aldi!!
