Ryvita's mini sweet chili

Ryvita used to be a boring snack for diet, it was dry and tasteless.
However it does taste nice with cream cheese.
The original Ryvitas were large pieces of crisp bread, about 7cm x 12cm as I remember.

Now they have minis which are about 3cm x 4cm and they are flavoured too, just like crisps.
Sweet Chili, Salt and Vinegar, Cheese and onion.
They were healthily delicious and not oily.
Each piece was crisp embedded with lots of rye.

I am now tempted to try their Ryvita Thins and other flavours for the minis.
For more information see their site: Ryvita

Singapore flower shaped coconut biscuits

Was given this by someone, they said it was a coconut biscuit from Singapore.
It was shaped like a flower.
The texture of it was interesting, it was not the usual cookie/biscuit texture.
It was very fine and velvety.

SBC 2011 Christmas series part 1

Glad it is Christmas again, especially for food there is lots more variety and new items.
To start off this year, I tried Starbucks Christmas Black Forest cake.
Next I am going to try the cranberry and blueberry Danish and the savoury wraps if they are not sold out yet.

I was attracted to the cake because of the whiteness of the cream and the cake was made up of other pieces of cake shaped together like the Battenberg or a brick wall but not as regular as the squares in that cake.

It tasted really nice, because the cake was made up of cake, mousse, cream, and pieces of jelly, which can be seen on the side.
But it was visually not as good as their product shot which attracted me in the first place.

There was only one piece of jelly, I would have preferred more.
I could taste some slight alcohol in the chocolate mousse.
It tasted mainly of chocolate and no taste of cherry whatsoever.

Physalis berry

Finally tried this delicate looking Physalis berry which is not to be confused with the Physalis alkekengi Berry.
The Physalis alkekengi berry has a papery shell that is bright orange, and the Physalis berry shell is beige/brown.

The berry inside looked like a round orange cherry and it tasted like a a soft cherry tomato with lots of tiny seeds inside.
It was slighty bitter.

Kabaya Pakyni Cheddar Cheese sticks

Got these cheddar cheese biscuit sticks which are Japanese.
They are about 5cm in width made from three biscuit sticks stuck together.
The cheese flavouring was very strong.
It was slightly oily.
