Piccolo organic courgette pea & leek baby food

It's been a while since I reviewed some baby food so I thought I'd treat myself to some from IKEA which wasn't exactly a bargain.
The courgette pea & leek sounded good so I tried that.
Unfortunately, you could only taste the peas and a hint of mint.
I could barely taste the courgettes or the leek so to summarize it was like eating pureed mushy peas.

[Review] HiPP Organic Scrumptious Lasagne Toddler Tray Meal

I don't know if anyone else has a baby food fetish like I do but it's addictive and expensive.
The memorable thing about the lasagne by hipp is reusing the heart shaped bowl for jellies or puddings.
Unfortunately it was a bit stained by the tomato sauce.
As for the price it was only 59p or 2 for a pound from @one.below
Overall, the taste was tasty for an adult because it was just like eating mashed up lasagne and the beef was grounded finely so it didn't have those annoying chewy bits.

[Review] Heinz First Steps no added sugar creamy peach & apricot porridge

I don't know if anyone else has a baby food fetish like I do but it's addictive and expensive.
This time I tried the Heinz first steps no added sugar creamy peach & apricot porridge which was comforting.
Strangely it was sweet without any sugars.
You can make the porridge runny or thick but personally I like it thick as a paste.
As for the price it was only 59p from one below which is a new discount store that opened recently.
Some baby porridges like cerelac are super sweet so I don't understand how babies can eat it.

[Review] Farley's Rusks

I don't know why but I always have a craving for baby foods.
There is something special about Farley's Rusks that are comforting and I don't know what it is.
Farley's Rusks started in the 1880s, but the company were taken over by Heinz in 1994.
Since I had a craving for them, I decided to get them.
I was really excited that I ate them right a way when I got home.
It was comforting that the smell was still the same as well as the taste.
The taste is hard to describe but the biscuit is sweet with a strong taste of flour.
I thought the taste was rather sweet as an adult so I am keen on trying the reduced sugar version which is difficult to get hold of.
When you add milk to it, the sweetness is just right.
Anyway, after posting it on social media it was comforting to see other people having the same affections to Farley's Rusks.

Baby Food: Glico

Glico is famous for Pocky Sticks and other confectionery so I was really surprised to discover they had a range of baby food!
As a foodie, I love trying out different baby food too so I got one of the stews in the range.
From the labeling, I deduced it was some sort of tofu and pork.
The taste was surprisingly good and tasted like thick sweetcorn soup and the pieces of sweetcorn had a crunch to it.

Heinz multigrain with cauliflower, broccoli and cheese dinners

Tried Heinz multigrain with cauliflower, broccoli and cheese dinners which is made by just adding water.
I like mine thick and tasty so I generally don't add too much water.
The taste of this was quite nice with a subtle broccoli and cauliflower taste but I couldn't quite taste the cheese.
If it is too bland for you (adults),some salt can be added to enhance the taste.

Gerber rice and banana apple cereal

I have always wanted to try Gerber cereals but the packaging wasn't resealable but now they have this twist cap which is really convenient.

You are supposed to add milk but I added water because I don't like milk and the taste was amazing because it tasted natural with apple tartness and banana taste.

Baby food - Chicken liver + rice + mixed veggies

Obviously I didn't get this from Thailand but it was good they had English and a great packaging that was clear and colourful.

On the rack, there were three flavours:
- Chicken liver, rice, mixed veggies
- Salmon, potato, sweetcorn, spinach
- Chicken, egg yolk, rice, mixed veggies

I ended up getting the chicken liver because you don't often get baby food with chicken liver.

When I googled this brand, I found other baby cookies too and they had salmon spinach cookies and chicken and corn cookies.

Inside the packet, you get a baby spoon too!!

The taste was interesting, there was a slight hint of bitterness most probably because of the chicken liver.

Anyway, babies won't have to worry about their cholesterol levels!!

GERBER Graduates Strawberry Yoghurt Melts

Bought these without knowing they were for babies (crawler stage) but I was attracted because it was similar to Meringue drops.
The taste was amazing and tasted like freezed dried strawberry yoghurt with a lovely tart taste that was not too sweet.
Definitely a treat for babies without the sugary issue.
I also tried the Very Berry blend which was for toddliers.

Lake Masyu Baby WATER 赤ちゃんWATER

北海道の天然水「摩周湖」は、今もなお、原生の森に護られながら、清らかで美しい水をたたえる摩周湖から染み出た天然の水です。
http://www.masyuuko.jp/order.php

Intrigued by bottles of baby water, I had to try it!
After googling it, I found out that the water comes from the Masyu Lake in Japan.
The taste was really nice and similar Volvic mineral water.
The labelling in Hong Kong seems a bit different to their website.

Baby food: Holle - Organic Baby food - Potatoes with corn and beef

As well as food, I love eating baby food too!

Tried the Potatoes with corn and beef by Holle which is quite an expensive brand because it uses organic ingredients.

It tasted like potted beef and beef pate, but the taste was extremely light because it is for babies.

The jar of baby food I got is made for babies at six months.

Gerber apple puree - baby food

I have always loved baby food since I was a baby and I still do now.

I had an idea that baby food could be fed to the elderly who had difficulty swallowing and chewing but it turns out people already do at some hospitals and elderly homes.

I tried Gerber's apple puree for babies and it was nice and natrual and unsweetened.
