Bebeto fruit snacks and strawberry twists

I was given these sweets labelled as fruit snacks a while ago but put them aside and forgot about them.
My memory was jogged when I saw fellow foodies post the Halloween ones which made me dig them out and try them.
Inside, there are two flavours: strawberry and banana.
The banana flavour was interesting because normally banana flavours are sweet but it was fruity infused with banana and has that usual gummy sweets taste with a tanginess.
The strawberry was how you would expect it to taste.

Also tried the vegan strawberry twists.
The flavour was nice but the aftertaste was a bit weird with some bitterness.
I preferred the bebeto gummies as the texture was better and there was no weird aftertaste.
It is interesting that the strawberry twists contains radish,  pumpkin and potato concentrates.

Hermes magazine kiosk, Soho square London

The Herme magazine kiosk is showcasing their latest issue of Le Monde d’Hermès magazine where you can grab a free copy.
There was free refreshments and free rides on a peddle-powered rickshaw.
The cookies from the beverage stall tasted amazing, it was chewy with these beautiful layers of chocolate.

Jägermeister IceCold Supermarket pop-up shop, London's Oxford Street

I was so lucky I made it to the Jägermeister IceCold Supermarket pop-up shop where I had some serious fun!
While I was making my way to the party downstairs, I was showered with some lovely merchandise which I imediately put on.
The cocktail made with Jagermeister was to my liking as it was like just like coke.
Photos of the event and merch I got.

Heinz black garlic mayo

I love coloured foods especially when it is something unsual like black, purple blue etc.
Heinz have launched a limited black garlic mayo for halloween which comes in three designs: purple, white and orange.

It was hard deciding between the white and purple but in the end I got the purple.

The black garlic mayo is made from black garlic which makes it special.
For those that have not come accross black garlic, it is a black from the fermentation process but if you look closely it is not truly black but a dark brown colour.
The texture of it is soft, mushy and tastes sweet, there is a twinge of sourness and there was an interesting feeling on the mouth because of the pH levels.
Similar to roasted garlic, there is still a garlic odour and smell.
Tasting the sauce on its own, I felt that there was not much real black garlic as it wasn't that sweet and punchy but you still have a creamy garlic taste to it with a fine gritty grainy texture.
I decided to pair it with some purple potatoes like you do and it was really tasty.
It was also good on pizza, hotdog and fries.

LiLK oat rice - The common Blend

Discovered this LiLK at the food fair.
LiLK has two drinks in the range, oat rice and the lush with coconut and quinoa.
Overall, I felt that the oat rice tasted nicer because it has the best of both worlds with the sweetness of the rice and the balanced by the oats which gives it a sweet malty taste.
The coconut quinoa is not bad but it has a coconut taste to it so it really depends if you mind having a coconut taste just like soya.

BARR Cream Soda

I love the BARR brand because it is comforting seeing this sold overseas especially when you are missing UK.
Anyway, the cream soda taste when it hits your tongue is very comforting and tastes like ice cream however the aftertaste of the artificial sweetness is not that pleasant.
Overall, not bad for the once in a while drink.

PIMP My Salad plant based parm cheez

I came accross Pimp my salad at various trade shows where it is showcased as a salad topper like bacon bits or added as flavourings to crisps.
The base is made with nutritional yeast, sunflower seeds and salt.
Overall, I felt that they are quite tasty on their own and instead of adding to pasta, soups, salad as suggested, I added it to porridge which tasted amazing.
