M&S Marks and Spencers all butter reduced fat croissants review

Croissants are delicious but they can be a bit heavy sometimes hence the all butter reduced fat croissants are ideal.

They feel lighter yet taste the same and they don't leave your fingers oily.

Meatless meatballs at Pret

Pret are now serving meatless meatballs wrap from Meatless farm.

On the menu you can find the Meatless Meatball Hot Wrap which is a vegan version of their classic Swedish Meatball Hot Wrap, created with chunky vegan meatballs flavoured with garlic and herb on a layer of red tapenade, chipotle ketchup and red onions. Topped with red pepper and finished with a sprinkling of crispy onions.

M&S Marks and Spencers vegetarian baked ricotta stacks review

A while ago I tried these baked ricotta stacks from M&S. I liked the way you get the layers of quinoa, seed base topped with mushrooms, leek, kale and creamy white wine sauce.

However it was somewhat bland.

M&S Marks and Spencers corned beef crispbakes review

There isn't anything I don't like really from M&S except for mango. This time I got the corned beef crispbakes which are made with corned beef and potatoes.
I really enjoyed these crispbakes because you can really taste the corned beef and strangely melting some camembert on top made it taste heavenly.

Tescos Toffee Meringues review

After trying a really good meringue from M&S, I decided to try the Tesco version for comparison.
It was too sweet for my liking from the chocolate to the toffee cream.
The only thing I liked was the fluffy meringue in the middle that was baked properly.

Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen no beef Meatballs review

M&S have definitely upped their game with meat substitutes because the plant kitchen range tastes so much better this year.
This time I tried the no beef meatballs which look just like your regular meatballs with a convincing colour and texture when raw.
As for the taste, it had a super strong oregano taste which goes with tomato sauce or whatever you cook it in but since they got the texture right, these meatballs were like your regular beef meatballs.
Personally, I did not like the strong oregano.

Marks and Spencers Family pack chilli con carne (bigger pack) review

I love chili con carne so got the M&S bigger pack, better value of chili con carne.
The portion is big enough for four people to share and the best thing is that it tastes great.
I was impressed with the minced beef because they were super finely minced and it didn't contain any sinew or chewy bits.
The mince was so fine that it was like the angel hair spaghetti.
As for the taste, I liked the way the spices and salt were mild because you can always add more salt and fire accordingly.
