Cheap fix at IKEA Bistro

I was feeling peckish so came here for some snacks.
As expected the queue was quite long but the staff were quite efficient so I got my food quickly.






I would have ordered chicken leg but it was not on the menu, by the time I saw it at the food counter it was too late.

meatballs:

The meatballs were quite soft, and the texture is a bit like a burger in meat ball form with delicious gravy.
There is jam as well but I didn't feel like adding jam.

vegetable medallion:

The vegetable patty was big and satisfying with big chunks of potato and broccoli in it.

thai fish cakes:
I didn't like the fish cakes because they were too spicy.

Non-fried bamboo charcoal noodles by Sau Tao

Got these Non-fried bamboo charcoal noodles by Sau Tao (壽桃非油炸竹炭麵-酸菜排骨湯味) as a gift from a friend and they surprisingly good.

The noodles looked a bit plastic when I took them out the bag, but when they were cooked they were delicious because the broth was good and there was a sachet of pickled vegetables which made the noodles fantastic.

As well as spareribs, they have other funky flavours such as seafood with pickled vegetables and duck with pickled vegetables.

Mamee Chef Creamy Tom Yum cup noodles

The Mamee cup noodles come in a sleek black cup, inside there are three sachets of condiments.
There is a sachet of spicy sauce, soup powder and condiments which contain dehydrated spring onions and chili.

I found the Tom Yum flavour too spicy for my tastebuds.

The Mamee cup noodles come in a sleek black cup, inside there are three sachets of condiments.

There is a sachet of spicy Laksa paste, soup powder and condiments which contain dehydrated spring onions and chili.

I felt that the Laksa had a strong curry flavour and lacked Laksa flavours but it was great that it had the tofu puffs.

As well as Laksa, there is a Tom Yum flavour too.

Orange Kit Kat

I love Kit Kat's wrapped in the traditional foil wrappers because it is a sin not to rub the foil for the logo to come through.

The one I had was wafers covered in orange flavoured chocolate.

It was quite nice but the orange flavouring was slightly artificial.

2014 Vitasoy cookies' n cream

Previously tried this drink before and it tastes like hazelnut milkshake.
The packaging this year is red and white with a milkshake picture.
Now available at 7-eleven.

These reminded me of white chocolate Toblerones but they were creamy sugary soft white chocolate on top of an oreo biscuit base.
